In time, you may need 3 hands.
I bought this 2 years ago and had no complaints. Loved it on all accounts. Suddenly the attachments no longer locked. Turns out the 3 attachment points on the neck of the appliance are worn and beginning to crack inwards and can no longer grab the tools that attach.This being said, it still works. You just have to hold the attachments in place while you use it.I have asked Hamilton Beach for replacement as it is under a 3 year warranty and they have agreed.

H/B still a quality product
It took my awhile to decide on an immersible blender. My old H/B lasted some 40 years with a lot of use.So, I chose another. I like the variable speed idea, and I'm getting used to holding it. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Powerful and easy to use. Makes smoothies with frozen fruit in a snap. Great for soups.
