Better than any outdoor mat for barefoot (or flip flopped feet) OR dog paws. The photo shows a pair of young kids size 9, next to a size 7 Women’s sandal, and a Mens size 12 flip flop next to a mid-large size food bowl, for comparison’s sake. It’s a great size! We sanded the grass outside and the sand (and unavoidable grass clippings) coming inside on our feet (wearing flip flops and sandals) and on our dogs paws was becoming unbearable. The price is seemingly high but the product is extremely sturdy, waay more sturdy than I imagined but not heavy. While the cleaning is very effective - I do love it and plan to bring it with us when we travel to BNBs, especially the beach - the refreshing feeling and long bristles feel almost silky, like a spa foot bath. I only wish the company would create a longer/wider one so we could ‘force’ our dog to walk through it lol. I know it’s not the intended use but we have a pup and he straddles the sides to try to keep his feet out. I’m currently trying high-value treats to get him to feel a sense of reward with giving himself a foot bath. Anyway, most dogs probably won’t feel deterred to step in. Another beneficial side effect is our dog now has a bowl full of outside water he cannot easily tip over! Lol I added a little ‘of the mother’ Apple Cider Vinegar to help as an antimicrobial agent as well as for the fact that ACV has undeniable health benefits (skin conditioner, flea/tick deterrent, gut health, and the list goes on!) for dogs. Win-win! I just wonder if this is BPA free. We do still have an absorbent rug for after we step inside (but the outside mat is mainly there just for standard shoes, not flip flops).

We have a large sandbox in our yard filled with beach sand. This works great to get all the sand off feet before we enter the house, but it definitely felt overpriced for what it is. Easy to spray out to clean and it's lasted multiple years.

I was skeptical when my husband bought this for our family lake house. We are constantly having to rinse the kids feet off from the gravel and sand on shore of the lake. This has been a great solubtuon and makes the process so much easier! The kids can use it on their own and it’s big enough for the adults to use too. The brushes on it are soft enough that they don’t hurt as you use it, but stiff enough to clean your foot well. This has been a great buy!

Use this in our Airbnb so guests can clean feet before entering house. It feels great, easy to use and does a great job getting sand off. My only con is that I think it was pricier than it should be but no regrets now that I’ve purchased it to minimize sand in the home.

We use this at our beach condo. Great to get the sand off our feet and sandals before going into that unit. Brush part sets it apart and size is compact yet would fit very large feet.

I though the bristles were a little bit harder they are kinda flimsy will see how it does it’s job - good for sand or light soil feet

My greatgrand children go barefoot everyday. They now wash their dirty feet before coming in my house! They love the brushes inside the tub! They say they tickle!!! It's easy to empty and rinse out! Reasonable price!
