Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro Cordless Handheld Vacuum CH950 (Renewed)

I never had a Shark brand before but I've always heard good things about it. When my little handheld vacuum crapped out on me, I went in search of a replacement. I needed something that would pull up pet hair but not get tangled up or clog it up. I tried a different Shark but sent it back. This one, however, is really awesome! Not only does it really suck, the brush does a great job of capturing the pet hair and pulling it into the suction so that it doesn't clog up the brush head. I love that it can go toe to toe with my stand-up vacuum for its ability to pull up dirt and pet hair. I do see the other reviews where battery life isn't as long as others would like. However, I'm the type that uses it a LOT - at least every day - and I just keep the thing plugged in when I'm not using it. What a great little tool this is.

Update, 4 months later. Shame on you shark. I didn't notice until I tried cleaning the brushroll, you can't take it apart to get the roller out. Unless you have the correct screwdriver for tamper proof torx srews..this may be a problem for useres with long hair, or long hair pets. It can still be cleaned, but it's more difficult to clean hair/string while the brush is still in the unit. Still a great choice for the price. I don't give many 5 stars. Most vacs today don't compare to the new junk. Shark nailed it with this one, and I got it refurbished. It picks up pet hair nicely on the sofa and blanket where the cat sits. This little guy has just enough suction to get the job done without "eating " things like bath mats etc.(much lol) I tried 3 other hand vacs from a value brand and a well known (B!ssell)and they don't compare. Save yourself the time and hassle and grab this one! Filtration is excellent for a hand vac, the battery could use improvement as it lasts about 10-12 min but plenty of time to get the job done most days. So well worth the price!

I read the reviews before buying and I saw that some complained about the battery life, I’ll second that - the battery life is not very long and I do wish that could be improved. However overall it has fulfilled its purposed successfully and I don’t often need it for too much longer than the battery life. It has great suction!! It does a really good job, better than my regular vacuum. I’ve been using it for several months now, mostly for my couch, entry mats, and small messes. And it does a really good job, plus it’s relatively easy to clean with the exception of some small crevices. I’m satisfied enough with it!

I bought a reconditioned vacuum. Big mistake. Don't buy these buy new instead. I love these vacuums and have one in each vehicle and one in my office. I've never had a lick of trouble out of any of them except this one. I bought a refurbished one. I returned it for another and this one made it just past the warranty and now it's dead again. Purchase these new their great machines. However, don't buy the refurbished ones.

I bought this to vacuum the floor mats in my car. I have a challenger with black carpets and mats. Every little thing shows. This little guy with power head does a great job and quickly. I purchased it as a refurb and it is working flawlessly. Pretty good battery life. I charge it after 3 or 4 uses. Very nice little shark.

I have been searching for a better way to remove pet hair from furniture-this Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro Cordless Handheld Vacuum is PURRFECT!! (I know-that was lame haha) Seriously, the brush attachment is so powerful, it removed hair in one sweep! The crevice tool gets along the cat tree platforms. I highly recommend this vacuum!

I bought this vacuum 10 months ago, now the battery won't charge. The charging light blink 10 time and then is off. Doesn't hold the charge, won't start. Buying another battery in Amazon will cost around $40.I like the power of the vacuum.
