Old Style Drain Design Plumber would not use.
Unfortunately when my plumber saw this drain he said he could not use it. Although I have used this style when tiling 2 different showers the plumber says that is a 20 year old drain design and they have much improved and better sealing versions. Kohler only makes this style of drain so I cannot use it and the finish of the non-Kohler drain is unlikely to match. Of course I learned this 5 days after the Amazon return window. Very disappointed that I will have to eat the cost of this drain.

didnt work in an abs pipe application would like refund
went to install this just last weekend and had to use pvc transition glue to abs and cant get it to seal??had to go get a different type drain to finish project. looking for a refund.
