I purchased this air purifier on November 20, 2024. After one year, the filter change alarm appeared. When I opened the device to check, I was shocked to find that there was no filter inside. Amazon has fooled me! I have been trying to contact them, but their customer care number is not even mentioned in their application.I advise everyone not to buy anything from Amazon—they deceive their customers!

It provides accurate live AQI readings and adjusts fan speed to quickly clear out all the dust initially. I'm very happy with my purchase . Recommended it to all my friends as well.

Received the unit today. First of all, the unit has black spots on the front as shown in picture. It looks like that the product is not fresh but used one. Really very sad that a company like Blue star is delivering product in such a bad condition.Next thing is the PM 2.5 particulate matters indicator (as shown in picture in a glow circle). Surprisingly, when I started it, the reading shown was below 10. I thought that the reading will get corrected after running for few minutes. But even after 20 min, reading shown is 003. Wooo.... In the most polluted city of the world-New Delhi, reading of 003, what else can we expect. This reading seems suspecious. I have another air purifier which, when turned on shows red light (extremely unhealthy air) and then it turns yellow, green and finally blue over a period of 20 to 30 min which seems logical.That's why I titled my review as not sure of product performance right now.

I purchased this product yesterday from Amazon.I switched it on and noticed the numbers on Digital PM2.5 Numeric Indicator kept reducing after a few minutes.Later when I read the manual, I read that the filter is sealed and needs to be opened so I unpacked the filter and started the machine again but then I realized that if the filter is sealed how is the air getting purified and the PM2.5 Numeric Indicator reducing on its own.Today I called the customer service and the engineer visited. I explained the same to him, he had taken out the filer and tuned on the machine but still the Digital indicator values kept on lowering even without a filter. This was shocking.

This product has a fake AQI indicator. Gives a wrong figure. And Blue Star has very poor and unresponsive after-sales service. Even when the AQI in the room is 200+ this Purifier shows a fake figure of 1. to 20

Filter got choked in 6 months overall average performance

The air purifier from Blue Star model AP420OAN is useless, Amazon dispatched used model which has black marking on the body and doesn't even work properly. Did not expect this from a renowned brand.
