Quality canvases at a good price.
These boards work wonderfully with pan pastels. They have a wonderful grain to them which holds a lot of pigment and allows for a lot of flexibility with reworking the colors. I will continue to purchase this brand.

Great value
These canvases are ideal for painting! I really appreciate the prepped surface, which has a pleasing texture. It's slightly rough, giving me a nice grip for my brush strokes, which I personally enjoy. However, if you're in search of a completely smooth surface for your artwork, you might want to consider other options.

Well made, but Way too coarse for my goals.
Well... if you're looking for a really coarse surface, this is it. I only tried it with oil paint— the paint doesn’t flow, it just sinks in. It's hard to leave brush marks, especially if you paint thinly. It's well made, just doesn't work for my goals.

Nice boards, well finished and ready to paint.

Does the job
I thought it was a great substitute for the more expensive gessobords but it's not the same. Took away a star since I saw some particles come up when the brush was used with more pressure.
