Peerless RP71609OB Slip-on Tub Spout and Adapter, Oil Bronze

I bought this product to replace a fancy, expensive Delta that was barely two years old and now worthless. Metal is solid. Looks good. Installation was easy (I pulled out the plastic insert and threaded it directly to the pipe). Fit was excellent. The pull up diverter worked perfectly with barely any water coming out at all and strong shower pressure. Seems like a good value. The only unknown is will it last? Very happy so far.

I had to remove the slip-on adapter in order to screw this on to my spout, but after that it was a quick and easy install. Shower plug works great and the faucet doesn't leak at all when it's engaged, so I'm getting better pressure out of my shower head than I was with the old faucet. Great value for $30.

Product broke after one use. Faucet leaks still while shower head is on. Cannot tepkace or tefund because i had it forvover 40 days before bathroom Reno was done so did not use it before return date. No way to contact seller!!!!!!!

This is a nice replacement tub spout if you need one- not too big, nicely shaped, thick metal, smooth diverter action, super easy to install w/ slip-on and decently sized set screw (you will need a hex key). I had ordered a cheaper one from the competition as well, and it was obvious (big, bulky, thin metal). Don't hesitate.
