Works surprisingly well
I was skeptical. Very skeptical in fact. However after being recommended this by a friend, I decided to give it a try. Now, in fairness, the texture isn’t what I was expecting, but the effect it has on my muscles! It’s heavenly. It seems to ease up any tension I have, and helps me unwind, and get ready to sleep. It’s lightly warming, and has a nice lavender scent, at least the one I got was scented.I do recommend it, especially if you’re like me and have a hard time getting into a deep sleep. It works very very well.

Just horrible! Not a lotion or a butter...
...put a pool of magnesium oil poured on top of a gritty shea butter, and it smells awful.I've loved all the other products I've tried from this brand and love the magnesium oil, as well as the magnesium lotion in the TUBE, that is a lotion and works great. Can't say I was expecting this tub of lotion to be anything less than a true creamy lotion - which it is absolutely not.

Weird texture but helped knee pain! Recommend it.
I purchased this after I read an article about a sleep doctor using magnesium cream every night for sleeping and recommending it to others We already purchase the spray of this and it works great at relieving leg cramps. This has a strange texture and only half of it is absorbed by the skin. The rest sits on the skin and needs to be wiped away. It is very gritty as with a bath salt. Not creamy at all.Put it on my sore knee and no kidding, the pain went away within a few minutes. Put it on at bedtime, too on the bottom of my feet and on my chest. And for the price, which is way more reasonable than other magnesium creams out there, I highly recommend. Worked great to quickly relieve a foot cramp, too!

Sleep great
I sleep great using this product. However unscented has a nasty smell. It's very oily and is separated in the container. I stir it every time i use and I also mix with lotion to cut the grease.

So creamy and smells great
I started using this at bedtime on my feet and knees for pain relief. I’ve been getting some burning on the top of 1 foot and my knees hurt day and night. It absorbs right in easily and is not greasy at all. Has a wonder smell of lavender. As for the performance, it doesn’t take all the pain away in the knees but it does help a little. It really helped with the burning on the top of my foot and I’ve been sleeping better (I thought that my foot might have stopped burning in it’s own so for 2 nights I didn’t use this and those 2 nights I did get burning again so got up and applied it and ended up with a better night. Now I just apply it each night to both feet). My feet feel more smooth to boot too! I will be reordering it!

False Advertising in the Photo and Description Leaves out weird Texture on Purpose!! LIES!!
The Good:some people said it workedgood for working into a small area of your skin like the bottom of feetmoisturizingpossibly a legit product ( but then why hide your products key points, be misleading and ignore the elephant in the room about your products unexpected texture?)does not soak into skin quickly (recommend night time use only or on parts of body not exposed)The bad:Sticky on skinFeels like wearing actual butterSeparates into Liquid and GoopFalsely advertised in pictures as a nice thick white cream, when it IS NOTNo mention of the texture of product despite knowing it is NOT the texture one expects from Body ButterMisnamed "Body Butter" which is usually a thick cream, when they meant "feels like coconut butter if coconut butter was even more liquidy and difficult to use"Such a small amount that you will use it up in just a few weeks or lessVery difficult to use as it separates into liquid oil and thick salt type solids like coconutNot for easy daily useFeels grossNeed a lot because it doesn't spread wellSmells like unscented lotion that accidentally got left in the same cabinet as the lavender for a dayDoesn't mix wellNothing about it is enjoyable to useMaybe this product would be cool if they advertised it as what it is - A bath-free magensium bath salt to put on your feet or other body parts at night when you are sore and don't want to take a bath! lol

Just awful, drying, doesn't absorb
I get restless legs on occasion and it is quickly (like 30 seconds quickly) stopped with magnesium oil. I am traveling at the moment in a very dry climate and needed something for my legs so when I saw that this had magnesium and was a body butter which could help with the dryness and small enough to travel and cheap I thought it was perfect. It's not. Its' awful. I put it on before bed like I usually do with the oil when my legs are bothering me. The top part was really thick, almost like slime, and completely unusable. Underneath was a thick, gritty paste that didn't absorb and I was worried it would get all over the sheets. I left oil marks on everything I touched for the next hour. Worse still though, somehow it left my hands and feet feeling so dry that I had to use lotion several times before I could sleep. Not being sure if it was just the dry climate, I tried again a few nights later with the same awful drying results. The only good thing is that it is cheap enough that I won't feel bad throwing it out. Actually, it's hard to say because I haven't tried it with my regular intense restlessness, just with some unease, but it may have been fine in the magnesium department. My legs didn't bother me the rest of the night but without more trials, I don't know if that was a coincidence. Even if it did work, the drying is unbearable and renders the whole thing unusable even if the magnesium works.
