EuroGraphics History of Aviation Poster, 36 x 24 inch

Just love this series of posters look great on my wall.

First, this is a gorgeous print--high quality paper, images, etc. The blue background is nicely done to resemble sky. The planes, etc. have tremendous detail--enough that our fly boys recognized specific models, types by sight. The addition of flags noting country of origin turned out to generate much interest, too. With all of these details, the poster offers multiple layers of interest and points of entry. We unveiled this on Thanksgiving (an early birthday gift), and it was a big hit among ALL ages. The veterans especially loved it, from former Air Force to Army Rangers. We heard many war-time and service stories that had remained untold previously. It generated much discussion also about new technology of flight. DH plans to hang this in his office, where he serves many members of the public each day. That's why I got it--I felt it would be something to hold interest while folks waited. As the holiday meal revealed, this is a winner for generating conversation and interest. I went with a simple, lightweight, plastic poster frame (no mat) for ease of handling and hanging. But this print is large enough, that if framed with a mat and nice wooden or metal frame, it would be a striking piece of art good enough for any room of the house.

Nicely put together with great graphics! Great for anyone who loves planes!

I bought this as a gift and the person loved it. Perfect for a pilot or someone who loves airplanes. Good quality printing and paper. I like that it comes in a cylinder to protect the poster. Very well packaged!
