One of the best sci-fi works ever written. Gibson’s Neuromancer world is complex technological future dipped in filth, and hopped up on drugs. With prophetic visions of the internet, hackers, cyberspace, AI, cybernetic enhancement and bio tech, written in the 70’s, well before any of these things existed in a recognizable way. This is the first book in the Sprawl series, but the following books only build on the world established in this book. The visionary that imagined cyberpunk, literally everyone stole from or borrowed from Gibson’s Neuromancer.It’s also a very cool looking hardcover with metallic cover art, hefty, looks good on the shelf.

The book looks nice but feels a bit cheap. Also, the pages are very thin. Lastly, the big sticker on the back was a bummer…

Book was not "RARE" and grossly overpriced. Book had a sticker price of 27 dollars
