Has helped with discovering food allergies
This Inflammation Spectrum book has a lot of good information to help you use the book and diet properly, but it can be very hard to follow. I have to say that I did feel better, lost weight even though I hadn't planned on that, and taught me a lot about what I should not eat, or eat very little of. I think vegetarians would really like it. It is mostly fruits and vegetables and some meat. There are a lot of vegetables that are cut out for this diet though. The diet lasts 4 or 8 weeks depending on how your test, in the book, works out for you. The doctor provides recipes to help you through it.

I have never felt more nourished
I’m currently on week three of the elimination diet detailed in this book, and I have never felt more nourished. I’ve been struggling with a chronic viral infection and a few autoimmune diseases for two years now, and this year I finally decided that I was ready to try a full blown elimination diet. After three weeks, I’m feeling so much better already. I’ve seen big reductions in symptoms, I’ve lost weight, and I just feel a greater overall sense of well-being. I don’t use many of the recipes given in the book because I’m the kind of person that doesn’t like following recipes, but I still have been preparing tons of delicious, nourishing meals for myself (I’ve attached a picture of several of my favorites so far). This diet does require a lot of cooking, but I’ve fallen in love with crafting intentional meals with nutritious ingredients that compliment each other. I’ve never enjoyed cooking more. This book also attempts to help you address other pro-inflammatory habits that aren’t food related, and I always enjoy my weekly challenge of doing away with a bad habit. I love the spirit of this book and I’ve found its content to be very practical, albeit challenging at times. I’d highly recommend this read if you’re looking for just the right tools to tackle your inflammation!

Ok information if you are newly looking into this lifestyle.
I preordered this book read it from cover to cover, took the quizzes etc, but am left wondering what’s actually new if inflammation is already a part of your life and you have been trying? The questions on the quizzes are vague and if someone (such as myself has an issue with blood sugar) why would bananas and pineapple, cantaloupe,oranges,etc, be ok to eat? Now way! Save yourself some time and money, it’s basically a low carb diet (which I like) without eggs, milk, nuts and seeds, but ok for high sugar fruit!?! Skip.

Easy read and very informative
I ordered this book and read it over a day or so. I told my three sisters about it and they also bought it. The only complaint I have is how to score your points up. For example, do I give 1 point if I put a x next to it. I found that confusing. With that said, I learned a lot.

Very resourceful
For years I’ve had psoriasis and I was like you know what I’ve had enough I want to learn more about what triggers your immune system and what foods are really bad for you and Dr. Will Cole is such a very good book to read about to understand what goes on in your body and how it is affected through life and what foods are giving you inflammation. I was so glad I purchased this book because I’m on a healing journey to make myself feel better .
