Worked perfectly.
Diagnosed this was the problem after researching on YouTube. Like others have mentioned this capacitor is longer and narrower than the original. I drilled a new hole in the bracket to compensate. Very easy to replace. Make sure to cut power to AC take a picture of the old capacitor and where wires go. Put in replacement in less than 15 minutes. Turned on AC at thermostat and AC was running! Buying another one just in case this one stops working when it’s 90 degrees out.

Direct replacement of original
This is a "wear" item in your HVAC. When my outside unit started making a graunching noise on start up, I replaced this capacitor. The important numbers to match up are 45 & 7.5. Do not go cheap with a capacitor. Buy the best you can find. This was highly rated and works fine.

Works great in my Trane unit.
Be aware that this unit is much slimmer than what came in my Trane unit. I had to drill another hole in order to get it to fasten. Other than that, my AC is working again in this 100F Texas heat.

Saved me 100s of dollars.
It took about 15 minutes to install this capacitor in my AC and it is back up and running. Has been working perfectly for over a month now.
