Finally someone designed cage nuts that don't shred your knuckles, no more skin ripping. Very easy to install with your fingers, just pinch and go. As for people saying they don't hold well, I am guessing you're installing them wrong. I am amazed at how many people install these on the outside of the cage rack (front of the cage frame) then wonder why they pop out when you screw your equipment in. The cage nuts mount behind the rack frame so the clips on the cage nuts face your equipment (towards you) but behind the frame. This way your equipment rests on the rack frame flush with the rack frame. Don't mount your equipment brackets directly to the nuts, the nuts should go behind the frame and you screw your equipment brackets into the frame driving the screw through the nut behind the frame and these will never fall out. These are a great price, and like I said, my favorite part is no worn out thumbs and torn knuckles from these nuts. They're great.

The nuts that come with this are of a little bit less quality then the ones I bought from Fry's, but they are more than half the price as well. I'm really happy with these in my network/AV rack. They did the job and did it well. I would buy these again before I went to Fry's.

Standard M5 cage nuts for rack mounts. You don't really need a tool to insert or remove them, I was able to install them with my fingers and remove one without any issue. Holds the equipment solidly, no issues to report, and a good price.
