Works well
Purchased for latitude model 5289. It was easy to install and came with a mini screwdriver and another item to help take the back cover off. I've been using it for two days and it lasts about 4-6 hours depending on use. Overall happy with it.

Hit or miss
Seems to drop charge at 95% to 54 with 1hr of watching video on laptop. Does the charge for about 1.5hrs decent usage

Great value - resurrected old laptop back to life
I've had an old latitude 5289 and battery wasn't great so I stopped using it.Thought I'd have to spend a fortune and original replacement was nearly £100 for battery + charger.Went with this knowing amazon will cover any problems and I'm positively surprised.Battery back to new - holds 5-7hrs (which for 7 year old laptop is great) realistic usage for office work.Came with screwdriver and tool to open it up as well (although I already had these) which is a bonus.If you have a 5289 and want to breathe some life back into it I recommend this product for the price.

Lasts longer than original.
Purchased the battery as a replacement form my Dell Latitude 5289 and gives longer life than the original it came installed with.

Very good price and very quick delivery.However crowbar and screwdriver not in box as promised. Will have to purchase tools to fit.

Excellent replacement
Very easy to replace original battery and initial performance suggests it has increased the battery loose of the laptop and at a very reasonable price

It gives an hour and half after full charge. .
Its almost perfect replacement installation wise. However will give you an hour and half after full charge.
