Linda's Tight Clam Needs Loosening (The Broken Banjo String Series) Paperback – December 23, 2021

The most clever thing about this book is the title. It does not come close to the level of writing and clever double entendres found in the ‘Brenda’s Beaver’ series or the ribald offerings from Bum Bum Books. The rhymes are forced and it shows little more than a sophomoric attempt to expand on the clever title. Such a poor presentation, it was, that I couldn’t feel right even giving it away. It will not make it to the library shelf, but is on a beeline to the recycling bin. Sorry if this was too harsh, but I had expected a lot more.A. Lot. More.

We used this book as a gift in a game at a New Year's Eve party. It was the hit of the party!

Funny, but not one of the better written in the series

Good wise ass humor

This had me howling with laughter, it's too funny! Nicely written with well thought out rhyming lines of poetry that will have you in tears, because of the hilarious double entendres. My neighbor (who is hard to make laugh) cracked up when I read it to him. All my friends are getting a copy for Christmas!
