I have been grooming my dogs for the past 16 years and I once had a big grooming table when I lived in a house with lots of room. I got rid of it when I downsized to an apartment and began to use the kitchen counter for grooming. It makes a mess in the kitchen and I missed watching tv while I groomed. So I went looking for a better way and came upon this "table". Not really a table but more of a platform for the dog to stand on. I was unsure if this would work for my dogs due to the 18 inch diameter. I have a small Bichon and a medium Cockapoo, so I ordered it to see for myself if it was big enough for my dogs. Once I got it and put it together I was still skeptical. So I decided to just dive right in and try it. I groomed my Cockapoo with it and was amazed! She stood in place on the mat with the tether in place and even when I turned the platform to get access to her, she just stood calmly. There was just enough room for her feet in place. I had placed the "grooming pedestal" on a short table so I could sit and groom while watching tv. It worked out perfectly! For a bigger dog I could rotate the stem and tether and let them stand on the big table and be tethered to stay in place from the platform pole. I like that it is sturdy, easily rotates with a 19 lb dog standing on it, and can be carried all over the house or out on the deck. When done I set it out in my storage room until next use. It is perfect for my needs and much more convenient than a big folding table. Love the purple mat too!

The turn-table is solid and well made. It’s heavy and stable. Very easy to use. You can get different size cinches for the size of your dog from just about anywhere on Amazon. I haven’t looked but I’m sure you can find or improvise an extension for the arm if needed. It works great for our seven pound Maltese who has knots that are nearly impossible to manage and out ten pound Pomeranian who just needs an ocassional trim. I highly recommend it. Very reasonable price too.

Up until now I've had my little Pooch professionally groomed but after hearing so many horror stories lately I decided it was time to try it on my own. This little table took the nervousness out of my first attempt and allowed me to have both hands free to do the tricky things like face and feet trimming, etc..It came with a single neck restraint but my little one is a "sitter" while grooming so I did buy a double restraint to be able to have her standing. It's a great size for my 6lb girl, is very sturdy, easy to assemble and It's the perfect working height when I put it on my kitchen island. Another great feature is that it turns, so when Madam gets a little antsy I can easily turn her to the other side.I love everything about it and it's already paid for itself in one grooming. Not only did I enjoy using it, my sweetie had no problem with it and was a much happier dog not having to be away from us.I did have to chuckle though at the instructions that came with the table. It said the weight capacity was 110lbs. All I could envision was an Elephant balancing itself on a ball. hahahaIf you have a small dog and want to groom at home...This is the perfect item and will make it so much easier.

Works great, have shortened noose for mini golden doodle. Found vertical a bit shaky above lock screw, even when tight so used smallish nail to insert where two pieces come together and that helps. Dog is happy getting brushed, and some trim on it.

I never would have thought I'd be purchasing a grooming table, but here I am.... grooming! About a year ago I adopted a Maltese. Having never owned a high-maintenance dog before, I was content to let the experts groom her. Well, her grooming past is murky and she ended up being an emotional mess following grooming sessions. We thought we had it figured out but then she had another bad spell. It hurt to see her in that state for so many days. So I decided to take over the grooming responsibility. I was already giving her bathes in between grooms so why not.First I purchased clippers to see how that would go. It went pretty good but my husband had to hold the leash to keep her still. Next step was a grooming table and what I read about this one made me think it would be perfect for us and I was right. I can put it just about anywhere so even if my back is giving me trouble, I can get the job done. I'm going slow and clipping/trimming her a little here and there.I took photos of my Maltese on the table (6 pounds) but also wanted to show that I can put my bigger dogs on the table as well. I have a 14 pound Terrier and a 12 pound Chiweeni, both shown in the photos on the table although neither of them have need of being groomed on a table. ***whew*** One goofy dog is enough for me! It's portable, swivels, bar adjusts, easy to clean, non slip surface and did I mention that it swivels?! Oh yeah! I'm a happy amateur dog groomer and my dog approves.

Absolutely love this table. I had considered buying a standard table as that is what I was accustomed to years ago when I groomed. I just didn’t like the idea of storing and setting up when needed. This one is so compact, sturdy but light weight, and perfect for maintaining my Yorkie that I wished I had bought it earlier. The one thing I would caution everyone about is the length noose is a bit long making it easy for a dog to step off the platform and in danger himself...that said a dog should never be left unattended on the platform. I realize most people know this but felt because of the length it should be pointed out. For my needs...it was a great purchase!
