Hi-Yield Improved Slug and Snail Bait is a pelleted bait for soil surface treatment in home vegetable gardens, turfgrass lawns, and around ornamentals, fruit trees, and berries. Bait attracts slugs and snails in moist soil, then Metaldehyde paralyzes the pests until they dehydrate in the sun. This new formulation may be applied as needed but will last 3 to 4 weeks, even through rain and sprinkling. For best control, apply to moist soil in the evening when damage is expected or first appears. Broadcast to soil around crops such as beans, cabbage, curcurbits, tomatoes, potatoes, blackberries and more, or under fruit tress such as apples or citrus. Also suitable for broadcast on turfgrass lawns, along fences, and in ornamental beds. Contains Bitrex bittering agent to deter children, pets, and other animals. 1 lb covers 4,400 square feet.

Why worry about climate change while throwing poison all over?
AMAZON might not allow this post. I get it. It might make tge company lose a sale. But its really about responsibility. Can the purchaser use these or any baits responsibly? How is that done? Is there information on the bag? Heres why... Some neighbor or park where we walk uses baits, most likely metaldehyde bait due to symptoms and somehow my little dog got into some baits. I hear theyre rather sweet and tasty. What this has meant, Giant vet bills. 3 weeks on IV. She's handed back to me with Sorry. I'm sorry that people are too lazy to just get rid of creatures by picking them up and putting them in a plastic bag. I'm sorry these companies don't put BIG DANGER!!! INFECTED CREATURES CAN CROSS PROPERTY LINES AND KILL NEIGHBOR COMPANION ANIMALS!! on their bags! Im sorry people dont have to sign a form that they take on the responsibilities of injuring pets within a 200 yard to a mile radius when using baits. But mostly I'm sssooo sorry for what my little dog has gone through. It's not just this company, it's baits. Think before using.cis there another way?
