Samsung Galaxy S8 ONLY S-View Flip Cover with Kickstand, Orchid Grey

I absolutely LOVE this case. There are a few negative points that I agree with but overall I ❤ it. This is the 3rd one I have purchased. Yes, that's right the THIRD one. I replace them bc I like the look of the new ones. I paid $60 for the first two. This time I purchased one from Amazon Warehouse at 50% off the original cost & I couldn't be happier, once again. In fact I am irritated I paid full price the other times haha. The #1 downside is that it doesn't provide much protection if dropped. Honestly, almost every time I drop it the phone goes flying from the case anyhow. But I do believe that having the case keeps me from dropping it at times that maybe I would. It provides additional grip with the way it needs to be held. The AOD screen isn't SUPER functional like they describe. But it does allow you to see incoming calls & notifications & makes it easy to differentiate between junk & things that matter. You can answer/reject calls, change a song (but only right after closing it) & see the display when the power button is pressed. You have to apply a little extra pressure on it to make it do what you want, can be fickle at times & takes patience getting used to. But in the end I LOVE IT!!! I purchase it over & over bc I love how sleek it is. Even though my screen is busted (since week 3 of owning this phone, 15 months ago) it looks beautiful & perfect with the case on it. It does protect against minor bumps & bangs but if it is dropped on concrete or tile do not expect this (or many cases) to protect it. That said, even though it has been dropped & busted.... thanks to this case the phone still looks sleek & as expensive as it really was. Nothing is perfect but this case makes me satisfied with what I have while making it look good at the same time. Phone is great.... Protecting it is a mission.

If you're the type person that doesn't really like phone covers and would rather have your phone without a cover at all, but know you have to have one since the latest models screens crack so easily, than this cover is for you. It's not bulky at all and doesn't increase the size of your phone by much at all, it's very slim. It's nice looking and my phone feels protected. It's still easy to hold and use one handed and still comfortably fits in the front pocket of my pants comfortably. I've had several people compliment it already and ask for the ordering info. I ordered the silver cover, the front cover is a shiny mirror finish, you can actually use it as a good mirror but when it's closed it's see through, so you can see your screen clearly. It's like the screen of your phone with fingerprints and such but it also wipes completely clean just as your phone screen does. I'm very OCD, so I would constantly wipe my phone screen of prints, I do the same with the cover, it wipes clean just as easily with my sleeve. My phones secure in the holder. I like that it can also be a stand for my device and I can watch videos/shows hands free with the cover as a stand to prop it up. If it's closed, it stays closed, if I open the front cover the phone doesn't flop open, it stays secure against the back cover which opens to use as a stand, it stays closed with magnets, which is very nice, I can't stand when that part just flops open as well. Everyone has loved the mirror like front cover, for my taste, if they made one that the front cover is the same finish and color as the back of this cover, than it would be a very sleek, classy looking cover and the perfect cover for me. Just my preference. It's a very nice cover, holds the phone securely, is very slim, and seems to be very well made, I can't see it tearing up easily. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a very nice, slim, flip cover that doesn't increase the phones size at all.

Amazing case, really protects the phone . I was concerned about drops on the edges but it magically protects it with the thin layer of the shell that your phone is locked into. The "through the case view" (and usage) is unmatched and an eye catcher. I hear "I thought that was already your phone, that's just the case?" which is fun to hear. Unique job by Samsung - and pretty amazing design that protects first, but is definitely a nice visual.

I really like this case. It's really cool how it interacts with the software and the AOD. It allows easy access to the fingerprint scanner (still don't know why they put it on the back of the phone, but a lot of cases kinda ruin that). It feels good in your hand with the cover flipped back - not too clunky or awkward to hold. Some cons are that the kickstand position is a little too upright for most uses, and the front screen cover is a little banged up and scratched already - it's definitely less durable/scratch-proof than the glass they use for the phone itself. The back of the case is still in perfect shape, as are the volume button covers (which are a really good idea). Overall though, it's really tough to find a good case for these phones, and this is my favorite one so far.

Cheaper than I could find anywhere else. I have always been opposed to any phone cases, preferring to just keep my phone naked. But the Samsung Galaxy S8 I found to be too slippery and pretty fragile, so bought this case. I like the translucent front, which allows you to see the time and a few notification icons, but also serves as a sort of privacy screen when it's opened. The case has been pretty durable - after a few months, it still looks brand new. The phone recognizes when the case is opened and turns on automatically. It even has a satisfying sound when it snaps shut, that I find myself constantly opening and closing it.Definitely seems to be built for right-handed people, not sure that I could like it if I was left-handed.
