Easyworkz Stainless Steel Espresso Cup 2pcs Set Double Wall Insulated Metal Demitasse Cups (Black, 5 oz)

I recently purchased a new espresso machine, one that's ridiculously expensive and handmade in Italy, but worth every penny. One of the interesting discoveries from dialing in the new machine is that rather than using a spouted portafilter as I did in the past, a bottomless portafilter brews a bit better. That change necessitated using a larger demitasse cup to brew into. This one is perfectly sized for a 30-second pull, whereas my existing 2.5 ounce cups are properly sized for the spouted (slit-shot) brew of the same duration. So, if you want a double-shot pulled through a bottomless portafilter, this demitasse cup is a fantastic option. The build quality is great, they look good (and match my smaller ones perfectly), work well, and don't taint the flavor of the expresso. They also keep the coffee warm if you're going to drink it as an espresso shot or until you steam milk to turn it into a latte or cappuccino. I'm very glad I bought them.

Happy with my purchase. I used it this morning with a dark sipping sugar free cocoa drink (Very Hot). I was reluctant to grab and hold it at first but the cup was not too hot to touch. Feels fancy :).

So… I couldn’t find any 5oz cups for my Lungo. I ended up giving these a try. I was worried about the metal being hot but the double wall makes it only warm. I love these cups. Very easy to rinse out as well.

Bought these for lungo shots on my Nespresso and they are the perfect size. They have a nice weight to them and feel durable. The polished finish still has some light machining texture at certain angles which is fine with me as it doesn’t catch as many fingerprints. They are double walled so the coffee stays warm longer than a conventional mug but they aren’t vacuum insulated so the cup still gets warm and the coffee goes cold after about 15 minutes which is plenty of time to drink a lungo but I wish it stayed warm a little longer. The 2.5oz version of these cups nest inside perfectly too which is nice.

These are great little cups to capture your espresso in. They I store mine on top of my espresso machine. They can be stacked together. They wash well and do not stain.
