Was very doubtful about getting these but they are actually very good. Had hens that were laying eggs all over the place and worse some were pecking shells and eating them. I have had these quite a while and they seemed to have done the trick with both where to lay and deterring the pecking. I put a few around the bottom of the hen house and the rest in a nest box. They are very life like and still look just like real eggs. The rogue hen(s) have learnt that there is no reward in pecking eggs and the dopey ones are now laying their eggs with the group of fake eggs in the nest box. Well pleased.

I bought these to encourage my chucks to lay in their nest boxes and to try and stop my dogs raiding the nest boxes when they did lay in them. They are working great, although they now have teeth marks in from when one of my dogs got in and tried to eat them thinking he'd found a tasty treat.I'm very happy with them and might even buy some more.

Have a pesky chicken pecking eggs and a few opportunistic crows . Good value for money and quality as will take a few pecks. Easy to clean

Perfect size and colour

These wooden eggs have convinced my hens to start laying in the nesting boxes again instead of in the bushes and all sorts of other hiding places. They look so real that on 2 occasions I've collected them up with the eggs. I'm ordering more and would highly recommend them!
