This power inverter has changed the game of off the grid camping for my friend and I when we bring out kids out camping. Ever since i got this it has made camping so much more comfortable. We always take this inverter with us now when we got camping and we have it set up to power a small TV and a laptop so we can watch a movie before bed to help us wind down. Also some morning when we wake up and just arent ready to start our day yet we wil throw on a movie. And my absolute FAVORITE thing i use it for is for my fan while out camping. Not being able to use a full size box fan while out camping was the one thing i disliked about camping because i cant sleep very well with out a fan. Now with this inverter i can bring my fan from home with me anywhere i go and i can now sleep like a baby. Also may have used it to power a blender once or twice or maybe 20 times =). The posibilities having this inverter are not only exciting they are endless. Such an amazing product that has not only never let me down but it has far exceeded any and all expectations i had.

The unit cannot handle any kind of draw plugged in to the cigarette lighter. I tried charging my iPhone and after 2 minutes the inverter started to flash and the power cut off. Don't waste your money.

This power inverter is exactly what I was looking for - a simple way to add power inside an older vehicle (90s Toyota Landcruiser) without resorting to time-intensive mods.This inverter plugs into both a cigarette lighter port or connects directly the vehicle battery via positive and negative clamps. I ordered this and use the cigarette lighter adapter exclusively.I've used this to keep my smartphone topped of and also occasionally to charge my kids' Nintendo Switch gaming consoles. The inverter supports both USB and regular household AC adapter plugs.Recommended!

My vehicle has a plug. But in their infinite wisdom, the vehicle manufacturing decided this plug has to recess into the plastic housing molding, some adapters don't fit. I should have packed a small extension.I'm glad I had this packed in the car.After a quick puff of plastic smell (components heating for the first time) that dissipated quickly enough, the 6 year old's Nintendo Switch session can complete.I can also charge my phone off the USB outlet supplied at the same time.Just need to track wattage by device.I'm only slightly leery about the + and - connection. It's solid, but they are minorly exposed. Works fine, noone should be bridging metal or pouring around it.

I had ordered the inverter to use in my car for my laptop and other items. I had no idea how much I would come to depend on it until we had a power outage due to tornados in our area which cause downed trees and heavy rain. I was able to use our vehicles to charge the rechargeable batteries to use in our portable tower lights and flashlights (big brand name) to use for several hours. We were also able to charge our cell phones in case of emergency and family who were concerned for our safety. The inverter is portable and easy to keep in a vehicle, emergency kit, or where you keep your batteries in your home.

The product powers on then start flashing and lose power. to bad it can't be returned.

I got the power inverter for only one thing and it does it well but it is a very light duty job. I have a small solar panel that trickle charges a compatible deep cycle battery. With this inverter and the fully charged battery I’m able to temporarily power my modem for internet. If the internet happens to be also interrupted then I can power a router with a media drive during a power outage. These devices use very little energy that you can power them for a while on a decent capacity battery. I would definitely use a surge protector between the inverter and devices.The build of the inverter is decent but could definitely be better. I’m not a huge fan of the terminal posts on the inverter because they do jiggle a bit. There is a fan inside the inverter which I guess is fine. The included clamps are also fine.I have seen others talk about the inverter not playing well on their vehicle but this is because all modern cars have so many electrical components that fuses are very over protective. If you are going to use it on a car battery then it will probably be best to disconnect the battery. It does come with a cigarette adapter but I wouldn’t use it because like I said, cars are very sensitive when it comes to electrical loads.Overall the inverter seems to work for my light duty needs

By far, this is the most powerful plug-in-play inverter I own for use in a vehicle. I found no limitations while in use in my Honda Element. I currently use it to recharge M18 batteries and run a refrigerated cooler while driving.I personally appreciate the compact size that packs more than enough wattage I would need for my use.
