Surprisingly Bright
First let me be honest. I don't like, need or want a Smart TV. I use them to plug in games consoles and home PCs so can honestly say I miss the days of old "Dumb" TVsI also remember the days when Blaupunkt had a very good reputation for car stereos so perhaps I'm getting a bit old. Bought this based on price, name and a few customer reviews. What you get out of the box is genuine 1080p resolution, and even on it's Eco settings the screen is bright and clear, perhaps a bit too bright at times. Has a few presets for gaming, home cinema etc and if you want most of the settings can be controlled manually, as I had to do to get it working with a PC.As usual these days the instructions can only be read with an electron microscope under laboratory conditions so are now somewhere with the packaging in a landfill. Not that you actually need them though, as a basic Telly it will give you pretty good performance out of the box. Have to say though, have never tried TV reception as I don't really need it.Another minor gripe, and it is minor is that the feet can be difficult to attach and are rather high which leaves a gap underneath where you can see all the spaghetti hidden behind it.Another oddity is that HDMI port one is actually on the side rather than the back as I first assumed it would be but can genuinely say it has three HDMI that all workHonestly can't comment on the USB or "Smart" features as I'll never use them but having had a quick look do seem to work, if they are a bit dated and the built in smart functions can't be updated or added to for some reason.Have played with the sound and like all TVs in this price range is a bit tinny, too heavy on treble and higher notes with little bass. Again, not planning on using it as I listen to stuff via an old HiFi amp and decent speakers and yes, this does come with a speaker socket and a few options so it could be better than I think it isIt also has a few silly nigglesIn Eco mode which is the the default setting it wants to go into standby after three hours - not good for binge watching or long gaming sessions and haven't figured out how to switch this bug/feature off.The remote works on the same frequency as a newly purchased robot vacuum. So every time I press OK on the remote I get the living room cleaned for freeOverall it's a good display and pretty advanced for the price if you're not really interested in so called "Smart" features that are usually not smart at all.If like me you just need a reasonably priced display to plug other stuff into, I think it's a bit of a good buy.

Not what I was expecting!
This is a lovely 32” tv. What I was very surprised about was that I couldn’t pause live tv on the remote. I emailed them and they confirmed that this tv does not have not have this facility :(
