Creative Co-Op Antiqued Bronze Dachshund Dog Paper Towel Holder

For aesthetic reasons, I’m giving this 5 stars. It’s stunning, eye-catching, and gets a ton of compliments. Love it! Downsides: not sturdy. When you need to tear off a paper towel, you’ll have to put one hand on the paper towel roll to steady the dog. Otherwise it wobbles. This creation works by sliding a narrow tube into a wider tube, the narrow tube being attached to the dog’s head, and the wider tube being attached to its rear. The two tubes then slide together within the paper towel roll. Very clever, but, I wish they had designed it such that the two tubes click together and lock in place, because they tend to slide apart. Not a big deal really, but just needs to be heavier and sturdier.

It's so cute!! I keep it on my dining room table and everyone who comes in always asks about it! Its so cute!! The only thing I would say is, I wish there was a way to keep the rods together when you have paper towels on it. When you start to pull a towel sometimes it pulls apart. Not enough of an inconvenience to take away any stars, but something they should consider when making it!

Every guest comments on this guy! Very cute and looks nice. But it doesn’t stay together and the base (butt end) falls out at the slightest movement. Wish there was a locking mechanism. And it looks like a brushed metal but it’s lightweight cheap material.

I order 2 for a gift. 1st one arrived damaged dents all over and paint missing. 2nd one had paint missing plus paint is uneven. The seller replaced the 1st order, but 3rd item was worse, item was not intact in box, resulting in the 3 pieces flying around the box causing damage to all 3 pieces. This item is extremely cheaply made. As I put it together the paper towels will not pull due to the item is too light weight. I am VERY disappointed that I paid $25 per item..all 3 dogs will be going in garage.

Another dachshund item I had to have! Wanted it for awhile now and glad I got one.The material the head and back side are made out of feels like Styrofoam... Not sure how long this will last but it seems to be sturdy. I guess I expected maybe something heavier but either way it looks good and I love it.

I gave this 5 stars because I think it’s pretty accurate of a description. As others have said it’s not solid metal as it looks... more painted resin but it is adorable, unique, and does the job. The ONLY reason I returned was because I needed him pushed against the backsplash and wanted him facing me so I bought his grey brother (photo attached). A great conversation piece if you can stomach the cost. I’ve already forgotten how much I paid so it was money well spent.

I was picturing something different then what came. The picture here doesnt look like what you get. Very cheap made, looks like it was spray painted. The tail end the rod screws into was already stripped. I would never pay full prize for it. I got him on sale and that might be to much.

This is exactly as pictured, love it and it fits so well in my kitchen decor!!!

Looks cheap, feels cheap - not worth even half what I paid - AVOID THIS PRODUCT - you will be sadly disappointed if you buy it - if I could give less than 1 star - I would

Yo compre el perro salchicha esta super lindo, luce mucho en mi cocina y es muy original, tuve que comprar un rollo de toallas mas pequeño- corto, ya que las toallas que tenia eran muy largas y se veía 'raro 'el perrito, porque se veía muy largo, pero ya con las toallas cortas se ve genial, el material del cilindro es de hierro, y el perro es como de plástico o algo parecido ...es muy liviano.En general si lo recomiendo mucho.

Es un producto muy gracioso y que le encanta a todas las visitas. Básicamente es un regalo excelente para cualquier persona que disfrute de la decoración de su cocina.CalidadEl material de siente de buena calidad y con suficiente peso para que no se mueva tan fácilmente, pero si así lo requieres no es excesivamente pesado.
