long life and funcionality
The device is working fine until it gets burn. My last device lasted only 16 months. Selection of more durable material is suggested. The original device lasted 6 years.

works for york diamond 80
Fits my york diamond 80 furnace. Seems the same as original with the exception that the connecting wire is shorter by about half. Now as my furnace to igniter lead has extra wire length this was not a problem, it just fits, no extra after finished. BUT this part came with wire connectors if some splicing is req. as this is the third igniter that I have replaced on this furnace over the years I had no problems installing, just be careful as the ceramic element is fragile, ware gloves to avoid getting oil/salt on the element as it will crack when it heats up!! Also at this price I ordered two as these seem to go out on the coldest days!! have one for backup(and if you break the first one). On my furnace I did not remove any furnace components(except cover) to replace as being experienced with these I knew how to install CAREFULLY, slowly. Took about 15 minutes, maybe a little more, furnace working fine again just as it should.. Happy with purchase

Works great!
Worked perfectly as replacement for one that broke. Local HVAC company quoted me $140 for the same part, so this was a much cheaper option.

Ignitor burnt on startup
Installed it and turned on the furnace, pop and no heat. Checked for continuity, an open. Removed it and the coil was burnt. I wore vinyl gloves so I believe it was defective. My word against theirs I guess.
