I liked that his carpet was clean but it didn't necessary feel as fluffy clean as it did right after shampooing.. The key was THIS... This rake / broom consists of hard plastic rakes that dig into the carpet helping to lift the fibers. This thing works great when it's used right after cleaning.I showed my Dad and he LOVES it. We recently bought carpet for our whole house. It is the most expensive ($17,000) that this business sold. Very shortly after it was installed, the top looked matted and like a washboard!!!! I got in contact with the manufacturer (Shaw) and was told that it was NOT covered under the warranty. They called it 'cornrowing". Needless to say, I was not very happy!!!!! I received this carpet rake yesterday and it really helps the looks of my carpet, It appears to be very sturdy and does the job.

I bought this hoping it will make cleaning lint from my artificial grass easier. I was so wrong. It did work well to comb the leaves out of my artificial grass and it did fluff the grass. So, it did have the nice lines; however. I need a rake that can pick up lint. It's not easy to clean the dirt particles out. Just disappointed. The length is good. My husband (6 ft) and I (5'5) like the length of the pole. Again, if we needed it for consolidating leaves on artificial turf I think I would be happier with the product.

Our cat loves to leave a little of himself wherever he goes in the house. He's a long haired cat and every 2-3 months, he leaves large clumps of hair everywhere. It often gets rubbed into the carpet and locked into the fibers. I'm good at vacuuming at least once a week, but if it goes longer, his hair is tough to remove.The rake easily catches the cat hair (and long human girls hair), and collects it in the 'teeth' of the rake, or loosens it up so it can be vacuumed up. The handle is aluminum and telescoping. A side benefit is that it gives you a good arm/aerobic workout as you rake the carpet. It's also good for making the carpet look nice by fluffing up the pile just before company is expected. For our carpet, it looks so good after it's been raked, that sometimes I don't want to walk through the room and 'ruin' it.Good value, and seemingly sturdy enough to last.

Does exactly what you want it to do. Helps fluff up some flattened carpet if it's not top far gone. Great for fluffing up the carpet when your apartment lease is over. Oh and your mom might like it so much she steals it from you. Tip: don't rake with my force. It's not needed and you'll just damage your carpet.
