Perfect Diffuser
I buy all my aquarium glassware from this company and love the quality. the diffuser works and look great! If the ceramic diffuser gets algae or dirty all you have to do is soak the diffuser in half water half bleach solution for a couple hours and its clean. After soaking in bleach I just soak in Tap water with water conditioner for a few hours to make extra sure no bleach is left in it

Doesn't diffuse CO2
I ordered this diffuser and hooked it up to my CO2 tank and let it sit for 5 minutes and no throughput of CO2 past the ceramic disk. I then hooked it to an air pump/bubbler to be sure it wasn't my CO2 unit and again nothing. So I asked Amazon for a replacement and they sent me a new one. Again I repeated the same steps and the 2nd unit received and nothing after 5 minutes watching it while it was attached to the air pump. I swapped this Jardl out for my old diffuser and it worked fine on CO2 and the air pump. I'm not sure what is going on with these but both didn't work. I am sending both back and looking for another brand unfortunately.

Needs about 1.5 psi to start if the stone got soaked from inside
It gives really fine mist but initially needs about 1.5 psi to start pushing any bubbles. The box said you need to boil the hose to attach it but mine worked without it. I actually boiled the glass itself. Avoid any abrupt changes in temperature since it can make the glass more fragile. It looks nice and it makes sense to have a bubble counter right where it goes into the water. I don't even think you need a check valve after it since I never saw water getting into it when I shut the line. Overall very nice product. And free entertainment watching how killifish tries to hunt bubbles in the glass bubble counter.

Simple to use, with info available online.
I am just learning about modern planted aquariums, and found various resources online for setting up a low-tech c02 system. The sites all recommended gettting a good c02 diffuser, and when I set up my configuration with a 1 liter bottle, tubing, silicone caulk, this diffuser, and sugar, water, and yeast, I was quickly able to get good c02 production on an ongoing basis. This simple device works perfectly!

Diffuser doesn't diffuse bubbles evenly.
Bubble counter works great, however my diffuser only shoots bubbles out of the right side of the wafer no matter how much a crank my co2 canister.. Its still enough to get decent co2 levels in my tank however but it would be nice if it actually worked like the picture.

Works great with a little effort
I’ll try to help some of you that couldn’t get this to work. Mine didn’t work at all after soaking it for an hour in water. I realized at that point that both sides of the ceramic disk need to be soaked in water before it would work. I got a piece of co2 tubing, put it on the diffuser. Then I put the defuser in a glass of very warm water and sucked water into it through the tubing. Now it’s full of water so the bubbles can be seen and it works great. I hope that helps

Cannot get to work and came with no instructions whatsoever.
Really beautiful and was excited to try it out instead of having a separate bubble counter. Does not work though. I have plenty of pressure but will not create bubbles. Also cannot get water into the glass. Pretty bummed about this. Going to fuss with it for a few days but if it still doesn't work, will be returning. For the price I would think it would work!
