The item shown in photo and description matches the factory built battery when bought from retail store. it is slight different in terms of color (old battery is pure black while new battery is slight gray and black). Nonetheless, it works as new and had no issues from the start.I no longer have to keep my AC Charger plugged onto my laptop and can now use it cordless.This is an awesome battery replacement for sure!Note: I did had a small problem with battery installation where I had to attempt three times to fit the battery onto my laptop. The first two tires the battery fell off because it did not stay.

As expected - works GREAT!!

Battery arrived on time and looked new and good. However, not the case. I purchased this battery to replace a old seven year old on in lap top. Same problem, so I took to Best Buy Geek Squad to get it fixed, they told me it was the plug on the side of the lap top and they could not fix it there. I took to another shop and they also thought it was a plug but upon checking it out, not the plug, they checked mother board, even device manager showed no battery. Yesterday May 16th I was notified the battery was the problem. They had ordered a new battery installed it and everything OK. Here is the thing that upsets me more. Received April 4th, laptop has been in shop since April 5th to be repaired which was completer yesterday May 16th. THE REPAIR WAS INSTALL NEW "GOOD" BATTERY. Return window has expired. Makes me grumpy. I would not order a thing from these people ever again. UPDATE: Seller sent me new battery, it is working as specified. I know you can get bad new parts from time to time. Their customer service is stellar.
