Clean sound
I put this sub into a sealed box and running it with 350w rms. Hits nice and sounds incredibly no matter what kind of music your listening to. My system has a bass control switch that helps of course with keeping the correct bass to music. This sub sounds good with everything I’ve thrown at it. The one thing I’d say is I really think I’m at the bottom of the power that this sub can efficiently run at. I probably really need more power but it still sounds great.I’m almost 50 years old now and have been listening to music loud for most of my life. As I get older I very much like quality versus quantity anymore. This sub has very good true sounding tone versus just boom. Although it boom too it sounds nice and pleasing to the ears.Update.I put this sub on a new amp a RF pushing 650watts RMS at 2 ohms and wow what a difference. I really thought it sounded good before but hands down I was under powered before. This sub hits so hard and so low I’m astounded. Incredible amount of sound out of one speaker. It’s still super clean and crisp and very thumpy!!!kinda surprised my box doesn’t self destruct, it moves so much air!!! I’ve never been so pleased with a sub before!Hope this help in your decision making.

Great design and quality!
So, I purchased this SUB, but I haven’t gotten around to my custom fiberglass speaker box build. Therefore, I don’t know what the sound quality is like. I am sure when I complete my project I will be satisfied with this purchase and the sound quality of this SUB.Today is 3/23/2020, and I’ve completed my custom build to where I can install and play music. I am still a little ways away from buttoning everything together and putting the final touches on my custom enclosure. Let’s get to the meat of the review. The SUB. It doesn’t disappoint. I like this SUB a lot for the money it’s a fo sho banger. The SUB knocks and is well worth the change you will spend. I think for anyone who purchase this SUB would be satisfied.

Hard hitting!
I’ve had Infinity speakers of several types in two vehicles. I had a pair of Reference subs in my Subaru and they are still working well even though I no longer own the car. Always liked them.As for these, the Kappa’s seem to punch significantly harder than the Reference subs, but also sound “muddy” when asked to reproduce a series of quick bass notes. When I get my system properly tuned I’m sure it will perform and sound better.I have it mounted in a 1 cubic foot box, mounted in the trunk of my Evo X, and is being powered by an Alpine 500 watt, single channel amp.

Beautifully Rich 10's (two 10s outperforms one 12", three 10s quake!)
tldr - didn't like one 12" boomey-ness, LOVE the richness of two 10" subs, went for three 10s and it is all I could dream ofOriginally had one 12" 1200w sub, wanted more, so I bought two 10'" 1000w kappas, each in 0.6 cuft box fit each under back seat of 07 Tundra double cab. Each box fits completely under rear seats though the seat is raised about 2 in at front, no problem with child seats installed.Box specs:-18" long x 6.5" on low end, 8.5" on high end) x 12" wide = 0.6 cuft-7.08 degree angle cuts on mid pieces to accommodate rise from 6.5 to 8.5"*Used 3/4" mdf on both projectsTwo 10s sounded good, but I wanted incredible...so I bought one more. Now running three 10s, each in its own box, all fit under rear seat. Powering with an infinity kappa oneK amp. Now it is POUNDING!! Can feel every double bass from Iron Maiden, Gojira, and Slipknot. Drops the bomb on rap tracks, esp old school Goodie MOB and 8ball & MJG.For the amp, since there are 2 channels coming off the oneK, ran single lead to one sub at 4 ohm. Ran the other two series at 2 ohms, resulting in 4 ohm plus 4 ohm load, which parallels internally at the amp for 2 ohm load. Finally hitting like I wanted it to. Perfect!!

GREAT sub, produces deep, powerful bass
I've had this sub installed in my car for about 5 months and I absolutely love it. I have it in a sealed box and it's powered by a 500 watt rms / 1000 watt peak Alpine amp. It's a very solid sub that produces deep, powerful bass. It's not insanely expensive - actually priced really well, but without being "cheap," and worth every penny.

Ok subs
Ok but they are not worth $104 maybe 50

Very efficient sub, good sound
This is really a very decent sub IF it's important to you to get a lot out of a small amp. It's very sensitive and runs very good at only 200watts RMS. Honestly about the best I can think of at low power like that. It is not in the same league as some of the subs in it's price range that can run 600+RMS and have 20mm XMAX, but those require a lot bigger amp to really run them well.

Great Subwoofer!!
I give it 5 stars. Had it in for a couple days in a ported enclosure, hasn’t even broke in and it slaps hard! Pushing 35hz or lower I’m giving it about 700w rms and 1500w peak but it can handle up to 1800w peak.Overall it’s a great purchase and speaker itself feels and looks high quality.I love the selectable ohm switch on the subwoofer and push pins for the wires,I’m pleased. thumbs up to infinitykappa series subwoofers!!UPDATE: 1 MonthSubwoofer is great, couldn’t be happier with the infinity kappa series 10” woofer… put it in a ported box rated at about 35hz and you won’t be disappointed… sounds like a 12 and shakes my brain on 1200w peak.I still can’t get over how beautiful this woofer is!!!!
