I bought several and one of my budgies love it so much it chewed it. But it's normal for them. So, I recommend to buy wooden platforms, they can chew also. Just check toxicity for your birds.

I looked high and low for a box with a storage height tall enough to accommodate my 4oz essential oil bottles and keep the light out. This was the only (semi-affordable) option I could find. And it was a second try. The previous box I got maybe fibbed on the dimensions in their description.Anyway, it's a lot bigger than I needed, but that's fine. One of the hinges in back is semi-broken. I think some pliers may fix it. Fingers crossed. I didn't see any cracks or un-glued edges, etc. Basic wood box. Which is what I wanted. Smells nice. Definitely a few steps up from a plastic storage container.I plan on staining it. Some day.

Nice wood used. Built well. My only complaint is the hinges were all crookedOn one rear hinge the wire used to keep the lid at a 90° when opened was bent and not in the hinge opening. The manufacturer should put more emphasis on installing their hinges straight and lined up to latch properly. ✌️

these are wonderful boxes! I make my own cards and love having one box for birthday cards, one box for get well, etc. The boxes are beautifully made and well worth the price.
