Bella e robusta (Globe 3l)

My New FAVORITE Teapot ! Great Size, Holds Heat!
Note: I ordered my teapot through Amazon US and a US vendor. I also ordered it from the UK site - TWICE! The first went missing, the order was a NIGHTMARE, I couldn't directly reorder, had to call, complain in order to not pay more, the second arrived Very Battered and Broken, and the return was Very difficult and time consuming as they wanted me to pay shipping to return a broken pot to the UK, as AMAZON UK is a THIRD PARTY Vendor!?Amazon DID sort it out once I called, complained, and talked to a supervisor - they were very courteous, it did get sorted, but ONLY because I persisted in my complaint. Having to make more than 1 call to sort out a purchase is a problem. I would only recommend ordering this wonderful teapot from a US vendor. Having said that....This is a FABULOUS teapot! I ordered the 80 oz. in white, it came well packed, and quickly, and it is beautiful. The product box inside also was well protected, so that it arrived in perfect shape, gift worthy. I was trying to replace a teapot which I recently broke, and decided to try this one, which was a bit more expensive, Having received it, it is obviously a better pot, so very glad I did. It has a simple globe shape, with a sturdy handle, spout and helper. It feels substantial, but because of the great design it is balanced, easy to hold, carry and pour without burning your fingers. The strainer referred to in the description is not a separate piece, but rather the fact that the pot has a wall with holes in it at the spout opening intended to keep loose tea leaves in the pot. These are properly done - a problem with some pots - these are large and sufficient for easy flow pouring, but small enough to hold back most tea leaves however if you use a fine loose tea, you might still want either a cup strainer or a brewing basket (or not), as a few leaves may sneak through. The better to read the tea leaves?I did a leak test when I got it (standard practice) doing a boiling water rinse to heat the pot, then filling completely, and letting it sit to see if moisture seeped through. It passed with flying colors on the leak test, and the pot was still hot 🔥 for over 2 hours later! (full pot) without a cozy, so it will definitely keep the tea warm through a meal or a nice visit. I use a 6 quart kettle for this pot - also available at Amazon US - to do a boiling rinse and fill the pot with a single boil. It will do 10 regular teacups or 4-5 large (15-20 oz.) mugs, or 6 of my favorite breakfast cups.It is a clear white, not greyish white or ivory, white white. This pot is made in cream, and a host of other lovely colors that I am hoping Amazon will soon carry on the Amazon US site. I will be buying another one of these as I try to keep 2 pots available so we aren't out if I break one, and if they get the Cobalt or Turquoise available in this size, I would pick up those as well (hint hint).

Great teapot when entertaining a group
It does exactly what it’s description says it does. Would appreciate link to giant tea cosies!

Small pots are for mugs
I bought this as a gift for the resident tea-maker in our office so that they could carry on their excellent service making a good cup of tea each day, truly a dying art form!I can therefore report that this is a beast of a tea pot that takes a good few bags and makes 6-8 mugs worth depending on your milk preferences. It brews well and keeps a good temperature without a tea cosy. The additional handle by the spout is definitely required when full unless you have wrists of steel. One for the office, those with a LOT of friends or just an excessive tea habit.

Dissapointing...
Was expecting this teapot to hold tea, it does not. Purchased it twice hoping the first one was a fluke and the new one would hold tea. It also did not hold tea.
