Comfortable, constructed well and most importantly my dog likes it
I had been looking around for options to help carry my 15 pound west highland white terrier on our 7 mile walks to the shops. She is 11 years old and not quite up to doing that long a walk but I still wanted to take her with me. I looked at the dog backpacks but they looked a little bulky so in the end I decided to buy this sling. The sling made out of heavy duty canvas-like material and is well made. It should give you years of use. It feels sturdy and there is good padding on the shoulders. There is also padding around the edges of the 'pocket' where the dog sits for extra comfort. The pocket has drawstrings so you can get the fit snug so there is no worry of your dog spilling out.I gave my dog a few small trial runs at home to practice getting in and out, and walking around. She took to it quite quickly, especially for an older dog. I gave her liver treats each time she got in the sling which helped :-) We went for our first full walk today and it was a great success. We walked until she got tired then I put her in the sling for a while until I thought she'd be ready to go again. She felt secure when we were walking and she seemed comfortable. My husband also had a go at carrying her and we both agree that it was very comfortable for us too.The only drawback I can think of is it can get quite hot for the dog from the heat transfer from your body, especially if you're walking for a while in the sun or uphill. It is a good idea to check regularly to make sure the dog isn't getting too warm.I haven't seen any other slings to compare it to but have given it a 5 star rating anyway as it suits it purpose and I am very happy with it.

Great for dogs under 15 lbs
This dog carrier is one of few that I found to be able to hold a dog of up to 30 lbs, and it does. However it would recommend it for dogs of no more than 15 lbs if you're planning on traveling a long distance. I wanted to hike up a mountain with my 30-lb dog and bought this carrier in case my dog would get tired along the way. My dog fits in the carrier but I found it to be too unstable to carry him for any remotely long distance. Also, there is no zipper on the top to close the dog carrier and secure the dog in, so I was constantly fearful that my dog might fall out and injure himself. Otherwise it is a great product, sturdy yet lightweight.

Solved my problem
4 Lazy Legs has proven to be the perfect solution for my little dog and me. My dog is 71/2 lbs. and sometimes gives out at the end of a long walk. There is ample room for her, or a larger dog, to hitch a ride. It provides a deep pocket so she can sit or stretch out while her head and paws can hang out comfortably. There is a hook inside to hook onto the collar. The strap has foam for shoulder comfort. Would not recommend it for a much larger dog unless you have very strong shoulders. Easy and light to carry.

It's a pink dog kangaroo pouch
It's a sling, I trolled Amazon looking for reviews. I would have liked to buy one from my local village fair but the guy stopped showing up. Sad face.Pink is pretty! My 8lb chi terrier mix loves it. She wants nothing more than to be attached to me so a sling is a perfect solution. She's super comfy in it. It's made of durable washable material. As fat as human comfort goes tho... The shoulder pad is more of a hinderance than a help and would be much better as a pocket for keys and a cell phone. And the seam at the bottom is stiff and pokes uncomfortably into your side. With fidgeting it's bearable.

Avoid this one
It did the job to a point. I found it to be comfortable to wear but once the cat or dog was in the item they could jump out. No way to secure them in unless you pull both sides up and pull the draw string closed. If you close it to secure them in then a lack of air flow and being so confined could hurt your pet. I used this item for my 2lb disabled kitten and it just did not work. I then tried my 10lb dog and again just did not feel safe using it. Spend a little more money and get the one that has hooks in it to secure your pet in. That way they are safe and can still breath.

4 paws up!-
My pup and I LOVE this!!! I am pretty crazy when it comes to my dog (he has a jogging stroller, basket for my bicycle, soon to have a bicycle trailer, etc.). I knew I wanted a sling for him almost since I got him. He's a little tiny white fluffy thing (Maltese 7lbs). We BOTH LOVE this sling.I probably spent at least a couple of hours on Amazon browsing the sling selections, both for furbabies and human babies. I knew this was the one for us as soon as I saw it. I like that it's blue so people know that he's a boy. I first carried him in a pink bag, and for some reason everyone thought he was a girl, who knows why. The size is perfect for him. He is pretty chill, so I don't worry that he will fall or jump out. If I bend over, I will put my hand to support him to make sure he doesn't fall out. As soon as I bring the sling out his little tail starts wagging, and when I lay it on the ground he walks right on it and wants to get in. He would probably be happy to be carried in it all day. I am extremely happy that I bought this sling, even though it was pricier than some of the others. When I have taken him out in public with him, several people have positively commented on it (they are totally jealous!!!). I was baby sitting my brother's dog and didn't want to leave either of them at home one day. So I actually put her in the sling, she's 12lbs, and I carried my dog kind of on top of her, and I was easily able to carry both of them with an arm to spare for shopping.Nice. Here's the only negative IMO, and this could be user error, who knows. Part of the strap is padded (maybe 1/3 to 1/2; the part in the picture that has the paw on it). This is very nice. I wish the whole thing were padded. I have been wearing the sling so that the padded part is in front, which seems like the correct way to me. However, the non padded part slightly digs into my shoulder/back. I folded a hand towel and put it under the strap, which resolved that issue, however, it's slightly annoying to have to do that. One day, I tried reversing the way I wore it, so that the logo was at my back. Surprisingly I felt that it dug in less, so maybe I'll try that again.P.S. I really would love to post a pic of my husband (which I find adorable AND hilarious) wearing the sling with the pup in it, but I don't want to be divorced.
