Quality Constructed - Really Nice Bi-Pod
I installed the Champion Bi-Pod on a Mossberg 702 Plinkster with a composite stock. I used the Uncle Mikes 115 RGS Swivel Wood Screw Set.The Mossberg synthetic stock has cross sections inside creating compartments, as part of its design, for additional support by the manufacturer. They are under the barrel and you will notice them when you remove the receiver assembly and barrel. With the stock in your left hand and the bi-pod in you right do a dry run. Taking the curvature of the stock into consideration, position the bi-pod so that the base plate of the bi-pod fits flush against the stock. If I remember correctly mine fit flush somewhere around the middle of the second compartment from the front of the stock, about 2-2.5 inches from the end. When you find the best location mark the spot where the Sling Swivel Screw will go. Mossberg has a convenient seam right down the middle on the bottom of the stock as a result of the manufacturing process. Take advantage of that center seam location to drill your hole for the screw. There is no need to measure to center. Mossberg has inadvertently done this for us by virtue of their manufacturing process.Drill a hole 7/32 of an inch into the bottom of the stock. That is the exact location for your Uncle Mike's 115 RGS 1/2 inch small Sling Swivel Wood Screw. Now measure the length, width and depth of the section that the hole enters on the stock. This is where you are going to place a small block of wood. I used an old peace of Pressure Treated Wood (PTW) I had left over from a project in the garage. I cut and filed it, placed it in the section in the stock until I felt comfortable that it wasn't going to interfere with the position of the barrel. The piece of wood was perfect, nice and tight in the stock. Now I took a pen and marked the piece of wood with a circle through the already drilled whole on the bottom of the stock. I removed the wood, put it in a vice and carefully drilled the wood with a 5/32 inch drill bit to the desired depth. Make certain you keep the drill hole straight. This will be for the screw. I then placed the wood block back into the stock, lined up the holes and using a 7/32 inch drill bit I finished drilling into the block, through the stock, for the recess for the Sling Swivel Screw. Be careful, this should only be drilled to a shallow depth for the recess of the Sling Swivel Screw to ensure a tight fit for the bi-pod. Review the manufacturers information for the proper drill depth.Hold the block of wood firmly in the stock with one hand, with your other hand turn the screw and washer into the stock through the already drilled hole in the stock and into the hole you just drilled in the wood block. It is helpful, unless you have a grip like Arnold Schwartzeneggar, to place a nail or similar object through the hole in the Swivel Pivot Screw to assist with the turning process. It should snug up nicely and will provide a sturdy support for the base of the bi-pod. That's it! I'm very pleased with this product and it remains rigid and firm no matter what position I put it in. It has proved to be a solid installation solution for composite stocks. Have fun and wait and see how accurate your shooting will be. Oh, and incidentally the bi-pod is awesome. I love how you can conveniently change from standing free form shooting positions at close range, because the bi-pod is very light, to 6 and 9 inch bi-pod positions for longer distance. The bi-pod is very sturdy and locks and unlocks from various positions quickly with little effort. With the convenient Swivel Screw connection the bi-pod can easily be removed and mounted on another rifle. I think they are so inexpensive I'll just purchase more bi-pods for whatever rifle I need them for.

Great Rimfire Bipod !
I have owned several different top brand name bipods, I only use them on rimfire 22's for bench rest competition. This bipod is as good or better as any like it....period. For the price they are an excellent value. I suggest getting this model with out the tilt/pivot, get the smooth non-notched legs for benchrest use, much more stable than the tilting models.

Great Bi-Pod for a reasonable price
I purchased this bipod for my Savage .308 rifle and it works flawlessly. Extremely solid and still, while firing a .308 round. It's very simple to attach to your rifle and the extendable legs work perfectly. This is a great value for what it is, and I highly recommend this bipod for the price conscious shooter. There are much more expensive options out there but this does exactly the same job as the pricey models and you cannot tell the difference between the two.

A good deal for the price, make sure you have the right sling
I purchased this bi-pod for my Ruger American rifle. It seemed to be just what I was looking for. I found the product to be well made. It took all of two minutes to install and that includes taking my sling off. It went on without any problems. Everything was great until I tried to deploy the legs. I noticed that my sling screw was preventing the legs of the bi-pod from fully deploying. I was using the "claw" sling that has a quick detach method. This particular sling doesn't work with this bi-pod. The simple solution was to get a sling with a more traditional mounting system. Lucky for me all I did was switch it with one I had on another rifle. All in all the bi-pod looks and functions great. Just make sure that your sling DOESN'T have the quick detach method and you will be fine.

Great fit.
I bought this bi-pod based on the reviews and construction description. Glad I bought this!! Very well made and attaches to the swivel on my Remington 243 very quickly and tight. No drilling holes at all. On the bottom of the bi-pod you can attach a sling which when carrying around I have no issues of the bi-pod itself coming loose from the jarring around or even from firing. Have put 50 rounds through the rifle and no loosening at all. I'm buying one for a friend and another for myself and see how it works on the rear stud also and see how stable it is. Great product for the price. Don't get your fingers between the legs and the mount when folding up for transport. The springs have good tension and will pinch. Which in my mind is good!! Have also left a couple of viewers photos to show how a sling attaches to the bottom of the bi-pod.

Good and fairly sturdy
Installation was a breeze quick and easy took me 5 minutes to put it on the rifle.Though there were no directions I had to figure it out myself.Talked to some other gun enthusiasts and seems like I'll be upgrading as soon as possible. Shot my rifle for the first time with it attached and it work ok, however there were some issues. It doesn't have adjustable extension points; meaning the legs are out or in there is nothing in between. The feet aren't a good rubber more a hard plastic and slide on almost every surface, this makes pre-loading almost impossible. Finally it's just not tall enough; I was stretching to aim at targets that were 200 m away and 10 feet up.Unless you just need something on your rifle I would look for something a little better in these respects.

Great Product
I purchased this about a month ago for a Mossberg ATR100 30.06 This rifle has integrated, molded sling attachments in the stock, and most bipods will not fit. I did research and this bipod was listed specifically as a good one for this rifle. It shipped incredibly fast, and I literally had it mounted in under a minute without modifications. It appears that is would mount to just about any rifle with any type of sling attachments. It is solid, functional and "looks cool." It does not extend enough for kneeling shooting positions, but is great for prone. And less than half the price of a Harris! I was not disappointed.
