Exhaust Headers 1-3/4" Stainless Steel for 2008-2013 Silverado Sierra 1500 LS LT LTZ WT 5.3L V8

First headers I installed and were a pain. Melted my stock plug wires almost immediately after install and had to go to summit racing to get 80$ angled wires which also melted about a year later even after putting on heat shield. The gaskets also aren’t very good those burnt out after about 4 months. The shape of these headers is not ideal at all for any plug wires and installation was awful. having to replace these now and get new headers, all in all a horrible experience do not get “metered” headers unless you want problems every couple of months.

I used them on my 71 c10 ls swap. I also cut the flanges off and added v-bands. There was alot of scoring from the tubes being bent but nothing some sand paper and emery cloth couldn't polish out. The packaging was top notch tho. UPS didn't even loose anything.

I have installed a couple of headers before and these are by far the most difficult to install. I had to disconnect the steering shaft which I’ve never had to do before. I also ran into issues with the spark plug wires. The way the headers are shaped the wires are a pain in the butt to get on. I’ve had 2 wires already go bad because the headers are routed so close together it crushes the wire. Hopefully you have done spark plugs before installing these headers because if you have to do them afterwards you’ll have to remove headers. Overall awful experience. Will not buy another set like this again.

Other than that they are perfect. I'm amazed by the quality.
