This puzzle was fun and challenging. I had a good time putting it together. The pieces come together is very amusing and satisfying ways. The photo on the box is a bit misleading. The image appears as if this is a square puzzle but it is isn’t. I had to refer to the Amazon image for accuracy. Otherwise great puzzle. Loved the brilliant colors and the thick wood whimsical pieces. I’d love to purchase more puzzles like this that are not square/rectangular.

I was working on this one when the email arrived asking about it! I love the colors and energy of this one - the pieces are medium sized so there's enough on them to be able to locate where they go in the whole pretty well.if you've never done an artifact puzzle, you're in for a real treat. if you have, you'll be ready to enjoy the same quality, creativity, beauty and fun that Artifact packs into every box.because these pieces are darker, I spread the tissue paper from the box onto the tray I use to work the puzzle - makes seeing the intricate edges and shapes much easier. Artifact Puzzles are such a joy to put together. The beautiful images and unusually shaped pieces challenge and delight at all sorts of levels. Every time I get one, I pass it on to several friends, and they all enjoy it as much as I do. This is one of my favorites – I put it together without looking at the picture so it would last as long as possible. The Artifact people are also super nice – I once accidentally mangled a piece of another puzzle in the vacuum cleaner, and they sent me a replacement right away.

Harder puzzle that is a great gift for people that like puzzles in your life. Box that it comes in is chic and to reusueable. One piece did have some lifting of the image from the wood piece but otherwise good condition and great looking in person.

I am not a big puzzler. Honestly, if its over 500 pieces I get bored and frustrated. The pieces, shapes, and colors of this puzzle were incredibly addictive and satisfying! I literally had to stop myself from working on it late at night. Artifact puzzles aren't cheap, but once you see the awesome quality in person, you'll be hooked. I'd rather buy one Artifact puzzle rather than 3-4 cheaper ones. I can't recommend enough!

Wow, there is no other puzzle like this one. Bought for my mother in law, but we had to try it out first. She loves puzzles, and can do 1000 piece puzzles in a day. HOWEVER, she starts with the edges every time, this one has no edges!The wood feel took this jigsaw to another level, even laying out the pieces alone will blow your mind. They fit in PERFECTLY! No joke, some pieces looked like they would fit, but if it isn't perfectly in there, its not the piece!Colors were fun, wood thickness made it very satisfying to get a piece in.

I purchased this as a gift for my parents that love puzzles. It looked so different then the other puzzles out there. I was a little hesitant to pay so much for a puzzle but I took the plunge.When the puzzle arrived and I saw the size of the box I became concerned. I was expecting more. Then I opened the box. It was packaged with care and every piece looked to be high quality and a work of art. So very impressed.My mother and I spent time just looking at the detail of the pieces. The back sides of these were as beautiful as the front.I cannot say how challenging of a puzzle that it is but it is beautiful. You won’t regret this purchase if you are looking for a puzzle that is in a different league of craftsmanship.

This is a beautful and not too challenging puzzle. It was just right for a quick family puzzle night. I have about 10 Artifact puzzles and I have bought several more as gifts, but I haven't bought one for well over a year. To my surprise this puzzle was a Friday afternoon job. On at least two pieces the image had not been stuck down correctly and did not fit the wooden piece properly. In addition that cardboard box had come apart. Maybe I was just unlucky, the other puzzle I bought last week had none of these problems, but for the cost of these puzzles I expect them to be well made.
