Sony SRS-XE300 - Portable wireless Bluetooth speaker with wide sound - waterproof, shockproof, 24 hours battery life and quick charging - Black

I brought this to replace an older Sony Bluetooth speaker. Sound quality is great whether streaming from Spotify or playing my vinyl. Easy to connect to Bluetooth devices including my record player and remembers the connection when switched on, so no need to keep reconnecting devices. The additional Sony app available is fantastic and gives the ability to connect more speakers to your existing set up. And access lots of features for the speaker. Battery life once fully charged is great and you can check this via the app where it gives you a percentage battery reading, I can’t comment on the waterproof features etc as unlikely it will be used outdoors unless sunny, but great feature if using in the kitchen or if like me you like listening to music in the shower/bathroom. Brought on the Black Friday deals so fantastic value for money! I will be adding more to our home in the future.

I bought this at £129 during the Black Friday event and so far am impressed . The sound is decently loud and very good for a standard living rooms even if that means combination of two such rooms . The speaker doesn’t perform well at max sound for songs high in bass sounds but if one keeps 1-2 notches below the max sound , things play really well . Can’t fault the looks and is great and truly a Sony product of quality . I will revert if battery life degrades , for now I did perform a full charge and haven’t played for long hours to comment on battery life . For now I am relying on the brand Sony , in addition Amazon , as my sellers are without a 2nd thought amazing to handle any issues wrt to the products . I never had any problems . Strongly recommended to those looking to buy in this range which covers a descent spec also from Harman( JbL range) .

I've had this a while now and it hasn't failed me yet. Well built (I've dropped it a few times and it's survived) and a good battery life. Good bass for those who love that but I turned it down a bit for a more balanced sound. For the price I paid I'm happy with it.

Paired with no fuss, and doesn't "drop out".We listen to a moderate sound level, and the quality is superb.It works better laid flat, with the controls on top.Looks elegant and the buttons all work well.Understated in its looks, over specified in its tone.

This speaker is huge and for the price and brand I expected way better sound quality. I found the highs muddy, the bottom end nowhere near my expectations. Free returns afforded me an opportunity to give it a go and return it I did. I didn't even get as far as trying it with calls. Latency was an issue with videos too.

Fantastic speaker with great sound and good bass. I bought 2, to get the stereo effect and it sounds fantastic. Happy with my purchase, always a winner with Sony products.

Love this speaker and bluetooth , nice sunny day in the garden with a bit of music on , bought the case to go with it , fits nicely in my backpack battery lasts a long time and great quality

Only just getting used to this device, but loving it already.Use it for playing Spotify from my phone.Downloaded the app from Sony, which is pretty easy to use, even for a technophobe like me!Haven't used it above about 40% volume yet as that is plenty loud enough in the house. Will probably try it outside one day when the weather improves.Great tone and clear sound.
