purchased this to help extend the life of our Eggs, these days eggs are so expensive that we can't afford to purchase them at the current cost. I buy them in bulk when I can and use the Food Grade Mineral Oil to seal the eggs thus allowing them to last up to 7-9 months.

The spray is a nice consistency and keeps my olive wood cutting board looking great. It's hard to keep the bottle itself clean, though, as it seems to leak a little from the sprayer portion. Just wipe the bottle regularly and it's fine.

We have both soapstone and wood /chopping block counter which both require mineral oil to look their best. The spray top is very convenient. Make both surfaces look new with very little effort.

The package arrived padded in a box and within 10 mins I was applying the product with a great spray attachment (which really works well on every item...I put all my wooden spoons, wood spatulas, as well as the wood handled “rubber ended” spatulas and spoons...I just turned them upside down in my big antique wood bowl and any excess oil sprayed on the handles went right onto the bowl and I rubbed it all in on both sides and there was NO WASTE! Mineral Oil is the absolute best product on wood items that contact food and very good for my 50 yr old steak plates that I use when I grill steaks! Don’t waste your money on other more expensive mineral products or blends, when this product works so well...never goes rancid! But do not use this product or any other on wooden boards or chopping block where fresh meat is butchered, trimmed, etc....you want to leave them UNTREATED as natural wood is prevents bacteria in its natural state. You just wash it with warm soapy water (don’t soak it) and rinse well and dry it.
