DHS Tar Shampoo 8 oz - Buy Packs and Save (Pack of 2)

Had itchy scalp. The Dermatologist recommended DHS Tar Shampoo. Glad he did. After sever shampoos, my scalp is better than it's ever been. I've since then, expanded to cleaning my neck and shoulders. They are smooth and stopped itching after the pool (dryness).

Was instructed to purchase coal tar bars of soap, did, and regretted it! This liquid soap is so much for effective and truly brings the needed coal-tar active agents onto ones skin...something said bar's of soap could never achieve.

This shampoo stinks. It smells a lot like tar like its name. It is, however, the only shampoo that worked for me to get rid of my dandruff and itchy scalp. It really works! As far as the smell, I just shampooed with a different shampoo afterward to get rid of the smell, being careful to just wash the hair and not the scalp. If nothing else works for you, try this stuff.

Ever since I was a little kid, I got chronic ear & throat infections all the time that would last for months. Finally, in my late 30s, I got a job with good medical insurance and went to a doctor to see if he knew how to get rid of them. After a complete exam, I was amazed when he told me that I could by using this DHS tar shampoo, and I was sorely tempted to just blow off his advice; but I figured, "What the hell?" and gave it a go, with very low expectations. After only 2-3 weeks of shampooing with DHS every day, the infection went away and, what's more, didn't come back in a couple of weeks or a month or so as It always had. Before long, I started tapering off using it and within a few weeks, the infection was back. Proof Positive to me, and ever since then, I have used it at least 2-3 times a week, and have never had another infection.

Not much to say other than itchy scalp and dandruff gone in 3 days amazing only took 15 years to find something that worked . Worth every dime it cost .

My husband had a reaction to some meds he needs. This shampoo makes it bearable. I'm not fond of the smell, but i don't care for lots f odors.

Been using this product for more than 25 years. Works well for me.I like the creamy tar better than any.
