PondXpert Non-Stop Pond Vacuum Cleaner with Integral Sludge Pump

First let’s get the negative reviews cleared up , one push the wheels in until u hear a click they won’t fall out, two flimsy construction, everything these days in made from materials that have been recycled at least six times so no matter what what u buy today it feels flimsy and cheap , as for the takes weeks to clear the pond , get a proper filter system installed , mine was clear the next day , right to the review. Fantastic bit of kit , constant running , no stop start and waiting cleared the sludge off bottom of pond in just over thirty minutes with no stopping

Have a largest wildlife pool with a lot of fish in and about three times a year I clean the bottom put and change some water. I had been using a blagdon monster but unfortunately they no longer make this product. When the monster would not work this year and stripping it down finally realised I needed a new pond vacuum. I also required the water not to return to the pool and also a vacuum that dont not stop every two minutes. took the plunge on this and after the first usage I am very happy. I net most of the sludge out where I can and then use this for the dirty water and around rocks. the the inside collection bag fills it makes a nose so you know when to empty it. the water was pushed out by the second pump in no time and I do like the feature clear pipe to see if you are in muddy water.the only down side is some of the connections do not look very strong so I don't know how long it will last but for now happy with purchase

Great product, good value for money.

Overall this a low quality product and the components all feel very cheap. The hose, the plastic tubes all feel of disposal quality. The vacuum isn't green it's chrome.I purchased this item because I wanted to be able to return the clean water back to the pond. The instructions state "Attach the white dirt collecting bag (17) to the end of the discharge hose and place in such a way that the water can easily flow back into your pond".The fine filter bag is absolute joke, its so fine that even when new the water cannot pass through it and so it just overflows and all the dirty water returns to the pond. Its been 2 weeks and my pond in worse condition than had I not used it!I will ask Amazon if it possible to return as it simply does not provide means to return clean water back to the pond.

The body of the.canisters is some what made of thin material. The cable between the top housing to the water pump could be a little longer other than the a far better machine from the previous machine

Be careful of fitting the bags inside properly, possibly a design issue? if you forget causes a bit of unblocking to be done. Other wise great bit of kit and excellent for removing grunge from bottom of pond ….pleased with its performance!

Very powerful suction and somewhat clumsy to use due to the suction, I have fitted a controller which allows air to enter the hose, consists of a rotating collar which covers an open slot. The suction is now controlled, not sucking everything up adhoc.The internal leaf bag netting catches any pond weed sucked up and can be rescued later on - no damage to the plants either or bugs caught.Not impressed with the discharge hose, short and the end has a odd coupling on the end which does not fit anything and gets in the way of the collection/discharge setup.Whats with this strainer bag fitted on the end of the discharge hose?? it is so fine the water cannot exit fast enough and the water pressure blows it off the end with a impressive whoosh.The bag is muslin gauge good for straining/making cheese its that fine, bought coarser bag works just fine.The picture on the instruction leaflet is misleading as it shows the hose pipes reversed - suction short and the discharge longer without the odd coupling.Having said that I would buy again as it is a good setup and the transparent pipe section allows items to be seen when vacuuming.
