Either I ordered the wrong part or someone screwed the pooch on design.
Application: 1997 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 6.5L Turbo DieselDidn't fit exactly. Had to bend metal section under the engine several times to get it to snap in and not make contact with other parts (vibration will wear a hole in no time flat). It was real PITA and added two hours to this repair project. (replaced both input and output)However, the quality is superior to the Dorman crap. Don't skimp on parts on this repair (the Dorman output started leaking in before 5K miles). Removing the oil lines is a messy, frustrating affair. The grille has to be removed, along with the oil cooler adapter to gain easy access. If you don't have the O-ring for the adapter, then you MUST get the OEM one. The Dorman kits at retail stores DO NOT carry this O-ring.I was able to make it work, but something is not right. Even at the front where it goes behind the bumper it looks to be bent wrong by the manufacturer.
