Instant installation, amazing for those with mobility concerns
From package to tub in five minutes, charge the remote then attach to the lift to use, worked like a charm, very quiet. Only works on smooth textured tub floors, no textures as it’s held in place with strong suction cups. Very stable, felt safe and secure. Nice white finish doesn’t add weird colors to the bathroom, can keep my robe and towels on the seat when not in use for easy access.

PERFECT for my needs
I spent months searching for something that would work. I found this by accident. This is PERFECT. I am an elderly woman with severely damaged spine. It became more and more difficult to get out of the tub. It was becoming dangerous. I really can’t afford this but it is well worth the financial sacrifice. It is heavier than I anticipated. However, the only time it will get moved is to clean the tub. It is late. I have not yet tried it with water. I placed it in the tub and tried it. It is PERFECT for my needs. I am 5'2” and 120 pounds. There are others on the market that are three or more times the price. I don’t know how they compare. I highly recommend this lift. It is well worth the price even if it takes a financial sacrifice.

Works in water
I have used this product a full year. It gets submerged in water just over the seat 4 days a week. No problems with lift. Would buy again. Charging is easy. Read the manual before use.

Works great
This does everything it's supposed to do. The issue is it's really large. We were going to use it in a walk in shower, and it wouldn't fit. Probably great for a bath tub.

Works for my unique need
My mother has MS and falls occasionally. If we are with her, it is hard for us to get her up. If she is home alone, she has difficulty getting herself up and transferred to a chair. She lives in a small 1br apt. In the event of a fall, she scoots over to this device which sits right next to her manual wheelchair that she never uses. She sits in it, and it lifts her up with no strain on us or herself. From there, she can transfer to her chair with no assistance. She can even push the lift to the sofa if she wants it to lift her there. The lift is not heavy at all. Sounds complex, but it works and I am glad that we purchased this. It was a much better value than other devices designed for fall recovery.

More solid that the more expensive Drive Medical unit.
I was hesitant at first to purchase this unit as it was so much cheaper price-wise that I thought it couldn't be all that good. I was wrong. It's much sturdier than the Drive units I have purchased in the past. I use the bath lift every time I get in the tub. The last Drive unit lasted less than a year. It quit in the down position (completely recharged) and I had to call the fire department at 1 AM (night owl) to get me up and out of the tub. How embarrassing. The poor young fireman is probably scarred for life, having to pick up a fat, naked, old woman out of the tub. Anywhere, the new unit is working fine. It has a metal lift pole versus the Drive plastic one and I just feel more secure with it. It also lowers into the water farther than the Drive unit. I have an 18-inch deep tub and I can feel the difference in depth. I do wish it had the built-in hook for the hand control that the Drive unit has. They sent a suction cup thing to hang it on, but it won't work with my bathroom layout.

Great for more than just tub
While this is meant for the tub, we used it to help lift my husband off the floor while he was recovering from a broken leg. He would go up the stairs backwards on his butt and use this to then get up into his wheelchair. It's very heavy duty. We'll built. Easy to use. Easy to charge.

Not hurting
It’s wonderful to relax in a tub of water with out the knee pain of getting in or out
