Dell Original 65W Thin Laptop Charger for Inspiron 15 Series Power-Supply-Cord (Original Version)

I misplaced my Dell laptop's original charger somewhere, so bought this. It is a replacement of the original Dell charger, works great on my laptop & also the seller is great, this shipped to me in 3-4 days, which is sooner than the estimated delivery but I'm happy I desperately needed the replacement charger ASAP.

Works great and the price was great

This is an update to my original review. I confirmed that the charger-adapter does get warm while I am using my laptop. I also tested the original adapter which also gets warm although maybe slightly less. That is subjective since I will need more time to compare. It works as it should and I am changing my rating from 3 stars to 5.

A friend asked me to work on his wife's laptop for her birthday... basic upgrades like ram, ssd, etc. What I found out was that his dog chewed up the original charging cable and he replaced it with a generic brand. It wouldn't charge the battery any more and would cripple the performance by about 10 to 1. I replaced the battery because he said the old one died and wouldn't hold a charge. The new one wasn't charging either. So I tried running off the battery to see if the battery was even working, and low and behold, it ran way faster on BATTERY than plugged in. I did some googling and looked in the bios and sure enough it had a warning about using a non-Dell charger. I upgraded him from a 45w charger to this one, and man it made a world of improvement. The old battery was fine, still in 'good' shape according to Windows, 3 out of 4 dots of life remaining. Charges quicker with the new charger than the original, and actually charges now! The laptop is like a brand new computer again.He's ecstatic waiting for her birthday to surprise her with a fully working laptop again.(FYI, also went from 1tb 5200rpm drive to 1Tb nvme, 8gb ram to 32gb ram)

Was a good buy worked perfectly

The cord works perfectly, my laptop system to use Dell power cord 45w or above, however when plugged in says not sufficient. So I purchased this 65w Dell power cord as the specs on refurbished label indicated, which is the power cord my laptop had when I took it in for service at Best Buy, MS and it didn't have that warning, but when I picked up and they tried to return without power cord because usually they don't keep yours, but they did mine, they had my entire laptop case initially for a few hours until, they talked me into leaving my laptop & said we don't need your case. They then just pulled someone else's label off a cord and handed me that one, I said it's not the right one, but they said it would work. Needless to say, my battery started its decline, not fully charging, I eventually replaced internal battery, myself, then upgraded cord to this one. I'm so glad I did! Seller was professional, prompt, and product is exceptional quality oem part!

I bought a few of these to set up additional work locations for my family's laptops, so we can carry our laptops to different rooms or even houses without having to unplug and take the power supply.

Came in two plain plastic bags, which makes me question whether it is actually a Dell product. Laptop wouldn't recoginize the 65w stated rating, and therefore wouldn't charge it.
