Back to the analog playground
I purchased two of these for my online radio station (which now has it's own Alexa skill) Stumble In The Dark Radio and I could not be more pleased! I have them running throgh a Behringer DX626 3-Channel DJ Mixer. The highs are crisp and the bass response is outstanding with the included cartridges. They sound great on my home system and "over the air." If you are on a budget (like me) these are worth considering. I only have two small complaints. First if you were a novice the instruction manual doesn't give you instructions on installing the belt, which is pre-installed on the platter. Second you have to be gentle with the start/stop button as it creates a residual "thud" that is slightly audible. Finally the sweet spot isn't zero on the pitch.

The sound.
I believe, for the price, it's pretty sound. Functionality is perfect, in my humble opinion. I really like it. The only thing I didn't like is the lack of a cover. How can I get a cover for it?

Digitize your vinyl collection via USB, but needs fine-tuning
Gemini Sound 3 Speed Belt Drive Vinyl Record Player DJ Turn Table for Home Stereo with USB Interface and Audacity Software IncludedPros:- Belt-Drive Motor Turntable- die-cast aluminum platter- Plays records at 33 RPM or 45 RPM- +10% / -10% variable pitch slider with strobe indicator for precision adjustment- S-shaped tone arm with hydraulic lift- Elliptical Gemini HDCN-15 Headshell with stylus included- adjustable counterweight with adjustable anti-skate dial- shock absorbing feet- adjustable height- Switchable phono/line level output- Ground post- Built-in pre-amp- USB 2.0 audio connectivity with a sample rate of 48k or 44.1k and 16-bit- Audacity software included (Audacity is a free download if you do not have a CD/DVD drive)- As with any PC recording from an external audio source, be sure to not set the level of your line-in / microphone-in port on your PC via the sound control panel above 70%-75% otherwise the audio starts sounding distortedCons:- the middle "0" setting on the pitch control isn't exactly 0% tuned (according to the strobing dot matrix on the side of the platter)- Power switch, RCA and USB ports, and phono/line selector switch are a bit difficult to get too because they are recessed so far under the unit- No grounding cable included- I wouldn't call it "rugged built": since the turntable is so light and predominately made of plastic, I would not ever consider using it in a club or a mobile DJ scenario, pick up a professional turntable instead- There is no place on the turntable to store the hole size converter for 45 rpm records- For higher quality line-level balanced recordings to a PC or laptop, pick up RCA stereo to 3.5mm cable and use your sound card's line in port, instead of using the supplied USB cable

Impressive Looking - Incomplete, Inaccurate Instructions - Nearly Impossible to Play Records
Got this turntable to convert 78 rpm records to digital files. There is absolutely NOTHING good I can say about this product except that looks great . . . as a record player it is virtually useless. Description clearly states: " It has precision pitch control and offers 33, 45 and 78 RPM speeds" and the instruction manual says: "Select the desired speed by depressing the 33, 45 or 78 (33 & 45 simultaneously) Speed Selector button". After many, many tries, it will not play 78 rpm records. The PLAY/STOP button does work but the PLAY/STOP button will not light. I could find no drive belt despite carefully reading the instruction manual and contacting seller's customer service. Seller's customer service also told me that they easily simultaneously turned on the 33 & 45 buttons to play 78s. Finally after posting a question to product web page, an answer was posted and I finally found and installed the drive belt. There is no convenient place to store the hole size converter for 45 rpm records. The ON/OFF switch and PHONO/LINE selector are nearly impossible to reach underneath the rear of the turntable. There is no cover, extremely important for a mechanical device. Many wasted hours and frustration! It does look fantastic and would make a great movie prop.
