This is a great little kit! It didn't include a 9mm (.38 cal) jag (which I prefer over a patch loop generally), so I purchased a brass jag separately and added it to the kit. It fits nicely next to patch loop in the case.It's a smartly designed little kit. It's perfect for cleaning subcompacts and small-frame pistols, but it also works well on a full-size pistol bore. I know some reviews on here have condemned the fact that the rod doesn't swivel. It wasn't an issue for me. The way the knob is designed, if you push the rod through using the palm of your hand on the top of the knob, the rod and knob swivels on your open palm. It works great! Also, some people have complained that the rod segments loosen up. That is true. If you pay attention, it's not an issue.What I like is that it's tiny. It's perfect for travel or for tossing into your range bag. I like that. We ordered a second one. That one arrived missing a piece, but we returned it and they sent a replacement quickly and cheerfully.The price is right, it's compact, and it's functional! What's not to like about this product? I would not hesitate to recommend it—particularly with its $8.95 price point.

I've been using these for years. They work well and they're small and compact. The tiny price tag ensures you can just give one away to a friend in need, or not be devastated if you lose it. The only downside is they come with a patch loop instead of a jag. Buy a separate jag and it'll fit easily in the case and all your dreams will come true. One other thing: if you're not careful, running the rod through the bore with a jag attached without using the palm of your hand to push it though can cause the rod segments to screw together so tightly that it will take fervent prayer or an act of Congress to unscrew them. You've been warned.Having copper and nylon brushes is nice, too. That's a lot of satisfaction for only 10 bucks, I gotta say!

Happy with this kit due to the price and size. Does all I need it to for a quick field strip in a compact case.

This little compact kit is perfect for someone like me who is just getting into firearms. I didn't need a whole bunch of tools just to clean my one 9mm, so this was just right for the value and necessary tools. My one and only complaint is how difficult it is to open. Great product!

Just recieved the Pistol cleaning kit today and I have to say this is a really nice kit that is well worth the 10 bux.First lets start off with the box. It's smaller than I thought it'd be, Its roughly 4" X 2.5" and about 1" thick. Pretty solid little plastic box that is kinda hard to snap open but at least I dont have to worry about it accidentally opening up scattering parts every where. The brushes are stamped "9mm" at the base and appear to be of the same quality that you'd find in the store, which is a good thing cause brushes wear out eventually and store bought ones can be threaded & used with the brass rod. The brass rod is solid and the two pieces screw in together tightly with no wobble or play. The slottled patch holding attachment is of solid brass as is the 2 piece rods, the black plastic knob is also threaded onto the brass rod end, with care I dont see why this kit wouldn't last a lifetime. Overall a high quality cleaning kit and 10 buck well spent.
