Progressive Labs - Curcumin BCM-95 60 vcaps [Health and Beauty]

Edit 4/27/2017I had kind of forgotten about BCM-95. For several months my asthma has been a real problem. I don't want any more drugs so have been over-using albuterol, but knowing that the little nidhe it gives the adrenals eventually will be no more and I can say good-bye. I resolved to stop being dependent on albuterol no matter what. I immediately started inhaler some anti-inflammatory and expectorant essential oils and started taking my PG BCM-95 that had been sitting around for awhile. I was shocked at the immediate results, doesn't even seem possible. Incredibly, I have only used albuterol once in the last few days. I only took one capsule twice--sometimes 3--times a day. (didn't realize it was supposed to be 2 per dose).This morning after feeling wheezy, instead of heading for the nebulizer, I took BCM-95. Amazing to me. Even on an empty stomach, no upset.I just ordered 2 bottles but today ordered 2 more.By the way I have the same problem as other reviewers with the powder covering the caps as if one has opened in the bottle. I found out it is a proprietary formula of enhanced curcumin, with longer lasting effects. Curcumin is an active ingredient of turmeric and is anti-inflammatory. Inflammation is involved in asthma so I thought I'd try a bottle. When I did an Amazon search, I found that this Progressive Labs brand had the highest amount of BCM-95 and at a better price than most others (Amazon free shipping too). Also, I have found Progressive Labs to be a good brand in the past. Veg-caps is a plus too.I can't honestly say whether or not my asthma improved because I was using other methods to treat that.But surprise surprise, my hemorrhoids (an inflammation) stopped causing trouble. Talk about anti-inflammatory! Now when they return the symptoms vanish if I take the curcumin. This is huge, as curcumin is recommended for heart health. The big problem with heart/circulatory problems is NOT cholesterol, but inflammation in the blood vessels.As an anti-inflammatory, curcumin is also wonderful for joint pain, for that matter, probably any inflammatory condition.I now buy extra bottles of this brand. I give it to friends to try and even the biggest skeptics are believers and now order their own.My skeptic friends with knee pain and other joint and muscle pains are the greatest fans of BCM-95.Be sure to take it with food and plenty of water. I suggest starting out with one in the morning, one in the evening for 3 days, then just one a day.By the way, be sure you are drinking enough water anyway--not just other fluids. If you are dehydrated (common), you will have more pain.

If you are going to buy Curcumin you MUST get BCM-95. Just purchased the 2nd bottle. We have tried other brands that do ok but when we learned about BCM-95 combination and tried it - it was like night and day. Helps my husbands arthritis, joint pain, etc. Highly recommend this product. I think most Curcumin will be fine as long as it has BCM-95!UPDATED October 29, 2016. Just ordering bottle 4 for husband. Mom has also stated taking this one. Husband was starting to not get the same benefits at 2 per day and increased to 3 a day since fall temps have changed his joint pain. 3 works! He has been taking this for several months and notices a huge difference if he misses a couple of days. So now it makes sure he does not miss one.

This product got a good review with consumer labs. I think it helps reduce pain due to osteoarthritis. I'm not happy with the yellow,powder all over my hands and have not experienced this with other capsules. But overall still like the product and would order it again

I was taking a different brand of normal organic curcumin for the past couple years as a health supplement. After running out of my last bottle, I decided to give this BCM-95 one a try. Besides all the health benefits of curcumin, I've read that curcumin could be also used as a natural way to treat headaches. My old supplement never helped with headache pain at all, whereas I found that this one does! I take one daily as a health supplement and I take extra when I get mild to moderate headaches instead of reaching for OTC pain meds. That's proof enough for me that it's doing something beneficial and reducing inflammation. I'm impressed!

It works. My husband and I both experienced a marked improvement in our arthritic feeling joints. One thing to know: The capsules are covered in the powdery yellow stuff and it is VERY potent. Just a little bit on your fingers will wind up on your face and clothes, etc. It doesn't permanently stain but is still something of a nuisance. When I take it now, I don't touch it. It goes from the bottle to a tissue and then to my mouth.

I guess I was expecting a miracle cure - no such luck. I had been taking Dr's Best Curcumin C3 Complex when I did some reading about BCM-95. It looked like it would be an upgrade to Dr's Best but honestly I saw no improvement to my problem plus I had to take BioPerine with it as it's not in their formula - my oversight. Lastly, the price IMHO is very high. I'll finish the bottle I have but won't be ordering this product again.

I appreciate all the health benefits I received from taking Curcumin BCM-95. I plan to take it for the rest of my life. I have a little more energy to get my daily chores done. I feel at ease in my mind-I don't have as much of a problem with depression. I seem to think clearer and have more ambition to finish projects I've put off for months. I sleep better-I wake up once a night to go to the bathroom-I then fall right back to sleep. In the past when I woke up at night - I could not get back to sleep for hours. I just feel overall better since I started taking BCM-95 a few weeks ago. I love this product ! (I am a 60's+ retired woman. I take 2 caps a day. )

I've taken turmeric supplements for years, and while I like them, they have a subtle effect. I took this Curcumin along side a turmeric supplement and turned orange. Wow. Side note, I won't combine again, since orange wasn't really what I was going for. My knees and hips are far less "crunchy" (technical term) with this supplement. I'll continue to order, since I'm looking to stay in front of any joint pain. Currently at 48, I don't have any.
