I have Underhill full throttle (NG 500-SFH both 10 and 75) which are expensive and have plastic parts that can break when dropped per several reviewers . This one is all brass (looks tough). I just tested this one along side the Underhills and the water delivery and distance looks the same. I am running 138 lbs of water pressure on a 1" garden hose to fight fires as dragging out a 5 hp gasoline pump for the pool and 2" hoses when I am going to get into my 80's soon doesn't thrill me. This seems to get into the ball park of the gasoline pump although I didn't test this theory.I just ordered another along with an all brass adaptor to run it on a 3/4" garden hose just in case the Underhill breaks on my while fire fighting as one of my fire hose set up is a very high flowing/pressure 3/4" hose. This 3/4" hose has the best pressure I have ever seen on a regular garden hose as it branches about 30 ft unregulated right off the water meter on a 1" pvc line. and has a 3/4" full flow ball valve.
