Hebrew Keyboard Stickers Transparent Background Black Letters for PC Computer Laptop Keyboards

I did not purchase these for the Hebrew lettering, but for protecting the keys' white letters on the black Mac laptop keys. My wife and I both tried one of the thin single layer total keyboard protectors but both of us found that they decrease the feel of the keys and make you have to hit the keys harder. My initial purpose was that my wife's MacBook Pro, which is only one year old, started loosing the white letters on the black keys. I figured out that the problem was the dry skin salve she uses on her hands dissolve the white letters. So I applied this product to her keyboard to protect the keys' letters. I've now developed the same problem so I bought the same product. The blue or black Hebrew letters disappear on the black keys' background. When applying these you have to be precise as they are smaller than the keys by about 3 to 4 mm and you have to be careful that the Hebrew letters don't obscure the white keys' lettering, so sometimes you have to rotate them by 90 or 180 degrees.. They initially don't look good when you apply them so you have to massage them with the back of your fingernail and they completely disappear. They don't affect the visibility or the feel of the keys like the single sheet protect. The only change they make is that they make the keys a bit glossy. The other problems is that they don't come is larger sizes for the return, tab, caps lock, shift, arrow, and command keys, so you have to either cut them in half or apply two of them. With them on you can't see the Hebrew letters on the black Apple laptop keyboard, which was my intent. If you make a mistake these are hard to remove and will rip off the keys, which is avoidable by using a very fine tip forceps to pull them off in a horizontal direction while putting a finger on the newly exposed part of the key. I wish these came in the larger size of the Mac's keys, and in sizes to cover the larger keys. For protecting your keys' white lettering this is a great product. I suggest the manufacturer start making this product for protection only without regard to the second language use.

The stick-on letters looked good at first but they quickly wear off, especially the most used keys. Since there are not a lot of options for this, it may not really be something that can be avoided. After approximately 6 months 2 of the stickers were no longer visible and now after a year in service, ten are no longer visible or missing altogether.

I am learning to read & write Hebrew. I wish I’d shopped more carefully. The keys on my computer are black. White lettered keyboard sticks would have been easier to read.
