Great buy
I replaced our old laptop battery with this unit and it works great. The old one would barely hold a charge. The tools provided make it very simple for anyone to swap them out. The new one works just as well as an OEM battery but was 1/3 the cost.

Works perfectly, salvaged my laptop!
My original ThinkPad X1 battery would not hold a charge. making it impossible to use unplugged. This battery was easy to install and restored the portability of my laptop. It holds charge well enough for normal travel.

So Far, So Great With This Replacement Battery
I found this battery thoughtfully packaged with clear instructions and a great variety of tools to install it. I had never replaced a laptop battery before. After draining and then fully charging it, I have so far found the battery life to be very impressive. Additionally, some other good things have been happening with my Lenovo laptop. Other reviews say the battery life sharply degrades after some months. But so far, I am really enjoying this battery and the new capability it has given my laptop.

Good Product
Battery was easy to install. Tools provided weren't the greatest quality, but they worked. Will definitely extend the life of my laptop.

Screw holes don't line up exactly with X1 Carbon Gen5
If you install this battery in an X1 Carbon Gen5 without screwing it in, the battery works. But if you replace the 4 screws that hold the battery, this causes the battery to have to be twisted to get all of the screws in. This twisting causes the battery to lose contact with the laptop, and after you finish installation and turn on your laptop, you will see that there is No Battery detected in your laptop. I had to install battery by itself without putting any screws back in to figure this out. So, the battery technically works, but it won't be detected in a Gen5 once you reinstall all of the screws that are required to hold the battery in place.

Decent? So so?
When I first installed it, no matter how much it charged it showed 0 percent. It would work with it unplugged but it was not consistent with it still showing 0 percent battery.Then a few days later it started to show the percent charged. Battery is ok I feel like. Drains kinda quickly? Not so sure about it. Definitely not the same as the original battery in my opinion.
