Leg AvenueWomen's Future Foundation Wire Free Convertible T-Shirt Bra

Purchased this for a Murder Mystery birthday party, where I played the part of a Chief Detective. I normally wear a 2X, but since costumes always seem to run small, I ordered the 3X. (I was 5 ft. 4 inches, weighing 260 at that time.) The fit was great! The material is nice - stretchy, soft, and thick - not the thin, polyester-satiny type that normally constitutes costumes - which created nice loose folds in the skirt, as you can see in the picture. I did not like having the included collar-with-tie around my neck, as I've never been a big fan of having anything tight on my neck. So, since I'm in my fifties and also didn't really want to show that much bosom (this is quite low-cut), I simply wore a white t-shirt underneath (the costume had room, so wearing a shirt underneath did not make it too tight, or ruin the line of the costume), and took the tie off of the collar (it's attached via a loop and slipped off easily) and pinned it to the white shirt. The costume was a hit at the party, and I even won the "Dressed to Kill" award for the best costume! Very happy with this purchase - would purchase from this company again.

I enjoyed this costume. I’m a size 1 and it fit well the only thing was it was a bit too long for me. Other than that it was good.

I have several Leg Avenue costumes and they are usually good quality. Unfortunately, this one was not - very thin, cheap fabric and just looked cheap overall. The included belt and tie also looked really cheap and flimsy.

I love this costume! It is so much better quality than any halloween store. Not itchy at all. I got the 1X/2X option. I am 5'9 I'm wearing heeled boots in the photo. I'm usually an XL to 1X in shirts, D cup bra, and a 14 Curvy jeand. Just trying to help out anyone who might be the same measurements. The neck piece isnt tight at all and the tie is removable so you dont have to wear it. The cuffs are plastic but they do work with locking and unlocking so that's fun and the belt works well. It zips down the front to get on and I love that!

The media could not be loaded.  The dress itself has a nice flair to it, making the belly not noticeable (if that’s an insecurity). The choker part of the dress, however, is a little too snug on me. Maybe it’s ‘cause I have a fat neck, but it has velcro adhesive and it closes. It just feels like I have some pressure around my neck. I’m not into being choked so I found it quite annoying while I had the costume on for about 20 mins. I was hoping the feeling would go away but it didn’t. Now, this is part of the dress so it’s not like I can just ignore it/not use it. I tried leaving it open and it didn’t work. Apart from that, the “belt” sent didn’t fit at all. Like, I put it around the dress before getting into it and it barely wrapped around the empty dress. Of course, when I got in it, it was a lost cause. I still tried to stay with the costume, saying “I can just use one of my actual belts.” Now the hat that’s included runs on the smaller side. Again, I don’t know if it’s ‘cause I have a big head, but it was very snug. I didn’t have a way to fix said hat. If the flap was up (not only did it look dumb), the flap would cover the crooked badge. Oh, yeah. The badge is crooked so if you have OCD and try to fix it, you can’t. It’s permanently attached like that. Anywhore, if the flap was down, it covered your eyes and again, it looked dumb. There was no medium, at least not when the hat fits snug already. Maybe if my head was smaller, it would’ve fit differently. Maybe. The last thing was the tie. Also has velcro and is suppose to go in between the collar of the choker part of the dress. Now, remember how I said it was snug and it felt like constant pressure? This made it worse, I was very self conscious of my double decker chin and it felt like I was constantly being held by the neck. Deal breaker. Again, I tried to just replace the tie (‘cause it was made from the same flimsy material the belt was made from. Very cheap piece of fake leather) but it’s the way it felt that made me return the dress. Again, I tried to make this work, it just didn’t for me. It was a cute dress. If the collar/choker part didn’t exist, I would’ve kept it. The material of the actual dress didn’t feel cheap. It felt like an actual skater dress. In the end, I returned it ‘cause I wouldn’t have felt comfortable getting “wasted” and highly intoxicated with the costume. I hope my review doesn’t ruin the chances of this being sold. Again, it could just be me, but I’ve tried the Leg Avenue Red Riding Hood costume with no issues in the same size.

To be exact I’m 5’5 and I usually wear a 3x in dresses and this dress does fit well, with no tightness on the body but my only major issue is that it’s pretty short in the back which causes my butt to show when walking (my butt is a bit big which could’ve caused this). The dress also exposes a LOT of cleavage (which I’m fine with) so if you have big boobs, just be aware. The tie that comes with it is pretty crappy so I did not wear it but the belt was pretty neat. As for the hat, I’d say if you have a big head then it will be snug/tight (and if it’s too tight I wouldn’t risk wearing it because it can cause a headache). The sleeves are also snug and can roll up which can be uncomfortable and hurt if you don’t pull them down. On the positive side I received MANY compliments on how good I looked so I’d count that as a win!

I got the 3x/4x and am normally a 3x and there was plenty of room. Flattering shape and great detail. I used Bobby pins to keep the hat on and left off the tie.

Small in the arms and chest area if have big chest. Also too much going on in the neck area. It should have been a stretch collar with button or an option to take off. Its just velcro to hold together which is not really suitable if your heavy chested like me. Because its all one piece collar connected with dress and I have to leave the top half open makes the collar awkward. If that makes sense. To avoid collar from falling off pinned it.

Nice quality fabric but I am a 2x 42DDD in real life and I was swimming in this. I wish I would have sized down so it was sexy.
