Excellent LED light bulb that produces a pleasant yellowish light that is easy to read with
This is light bulb is sooo much nicer than a typical LED light bulb. The light is yellowish and pleasant and not harsh. You want to read by this light since your eyes don't get tired. I use it with my Anglepoise lamp in combination with a Leviton Table Top Plug in Lamp Dimmer for LED. No flickering and no buzzy noises when dimming. When this light bulb goes bad, I will buy again and again. A typical LED bulb cannot match an incandescent in the quality of the light produced but this LED bulb can! This seems to be a harder to find LED light bulb. I'm glad Amazon carries it.

Nearly indistinguishable from an incandescent at 10% the electricity cost
The quality of the lighting is fantastic and worth the premium over the usual LED lights. It's hard to describe how much of an impact the 95 CRI has since everyone's preferences are different, but it feels much more natural than the average 80ish CRI bulbs and does a great job mimicking an incandescent, especially since the color temperature changes as the bulb dims. It doesn't get quite as warm as a true incandescent bulb at very low brightness, but it's better than any other bulb I've had. The only problem is the glass is quite fragile. One bulb slipped out of my hand and fell about 1.5ft onto my desk, and it shattered. If you miss the look of incandescent blubs, give this a shot. It's 95% as good while using a tiny fraction of the electricity of an incandescent. I won't buy any bulbs other than these from now on.

Good Oven Range Light Replacement
The media could not be loaded. I just received these and they are a perfect replacement for standard bulb from my oven hood range; even a tad crisper light.Keep in mind if you read the box label it says it last 13.7 years only if you use it 3 hours a day! So lets do the math. The bulb has 15,000 hour lifespan. So if you leave the light on all night after cooking dinner then thats 8 hours a day so that makes a 5 year lifespan instead.I love how ppl don’t take this into consideration and complain it died after 5 years or sooner. It all how you use the light! Lol. Though the first light did died after 1 hour sometimes u get a dud no biggie. Still need to get a replacement but so is life. :)So if your someone who likes light on in the kitchen after hours it might be better to jist go get a “auto nightlight wall plate” u save money and the bulbs lifespan.I have to see have far this light lasts, traditional bulbs for my oven hood only last 4-6 months. This im hoping with be a big improvement and also since it LED it doesn’t attract bugs!! Big win.Final notes: it seems like great quality only reason i got them, performance is outstanding no flicker at all basically instantly on no delay at all! Value is great since i got it only a blk friday sale. Brightness is as expected. Has a warm color on the lighter side.

Some of the best bulbs you can buy in terms of color reproduction!
I wish these weren't so hard to find, because in terms of light quality/color reproduction, these are some of the best bulbs you can buy. I use these in task lamps on my work table, and they put off a very clean, warm light with great color reproduction compared to any equally priced LED on the market. The warm light does not strain my eyes even after hours of working with them shining down onto the table. There are measurements out there if you're keen on searching, but the next best LEDs in terms of color reproduction are around $15-20 per bulb. Yes, $20 for each. These are an absolute steal in comparison and I hope that Philips does not stop selling these any time soon. I have regular (non-clear) 60w and 75w Ultra Definition bulbs throughout my house now, and I finally feel like I've found a decent (but not perfect, nothing will ever be 100% as good as incandescents) replacement for that cozy, warm tungsten glow of an incandescent lightbulb. They also dim exceptionally well for a LED, but like any LED, you can't expect the dimming performance/range of an incandescent. These are a welcome product with the incandescent ban that is coming very soon.

Defective - ALL OF THEM!!
Either Philips has lost it's edge in LED lighting products, or this is a counterfeit product. I have been using Philips LED lights for years because of their superior lighting quality, and reliability. I especially like the warm glow effect that they offer which gives you the ability to dramatically shift the ambiance in your room using a standard dimmer... and without having to pay extra for gimmicky app driven features.I purchased a total of 16 of the A15 40w. equivalent clear bulbs only to have them start to fail almost immediately. (the issue is that two of the 4 filaments suddenly stop working and the bulb looses half of it's brightness) Now, they continue to fail one by one. (Three more have failed this week). I thought maybe a bad light switch was delivering dirty power and causing circuitry failures, but... no, they are now failing in multiple rooms. I'm outside of the return window and the manufacture warranty process isn't worth fighting for an RMA on $4 bulbs, so now I guess I'm stuck with brand new, and dead, lightbulbs.UPDATE: 4 Weeks later, most of the bulbs have now failed or are in the process failing. A rate of about 1-2 per week flicker out and die off to half brightness (exactly as descried in my initial review). Most are now gone, and what's left probably wont last much longer. On track for 100% failure rate. Philips was for years (my opinion only) bucking the quality trend and making long lasting lightbulbs while other were focused on making bulbs cheep. I hope this isn't the new Philips. Changing my review to 1 star. Unacceptable.

Short lifespan in ceiling fan
These look great when they're new, but they don't last long in my ceiling fan before one of the filaments goes out or worse, flickers randomly. I really like the warm-glow effect, just wish they were sturdier.
