It is a good replacement for the back I lost for my diamonds studs.

As far as the fit goes they worked fine . I lost 1 screw back to my diamond studs and bought these to replace it . The one I used has turned colors , gave me an infection with open skin , and gets gunked up . If I clean it off it’s good as new but my original backing that came with the earrings hasn’t had any of these issues .

These are not universal for all screw back earrings. Did not fit my pair of diamond earrings unfortunately. Definitely worth a try but sadly did not work for me. Will keep looking for something that will fit.

I bought these to replace the screw backs on some platinum earrings that had a screw back that was too loose. They work great! My only worry is that after a while they have turned green??? I cleaned them with a jewelry cleaner right before that happened so I’m not sure what’s going on.
